Dclass Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I went to 250-260 km/h in my big turbo golf 2002. Hit the 240 km/h in my APR chipped GTI 2011. Also went to 240 km/h in my Audi S4 2011, it had power to go faster but i'm becoming more resonnable or responsible... ahaha whatever! 1 Quote

Unfortunetlly i was cought, they took my licence for 12 months (I was lucky lol) and got a fine to pay arround 1000€, after several months of struggle on court (i complained) they reduced it to arround 700€..i payed it off monthly, arround 100€ was taken from my account each month..after that, I think I didn't drive faster than 150 km/h xD 2 Quote

I see euro speeds are much higher then US ones. On avg we got 65 mph on freeways/highways. Anything above 75 mph is like asking for ticket in lot's of state. 1 Quote

That's why I said I was lucky i loose it only for 1 year. Today penalties are much higher, for that today I could gate my licence away for at least 2 years and ticket fine 2000€+ and ofc 5 penalty points in my driver licence. Anyway unfortunetlly our country is really f***ed up with traffic regulations, bad highway infrastructure, so there are like 50 accidents per week (with bad injuries) according to news anyway. So it's not the speed that couses most of our accidents in our country, it's the bad roads, insufficient signs on roads, and that kind of issues.. Well there is always some ppl who like to do street races (i was one of them lol) wich ends up badly most of the time, but as police (on goverment proposal) raised the ammount of penalties, this need for speed wanna be stuff is really really rare to see nowdays. 1 Quote
Sisje Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 120km/h max at our highways, they are lowering the speed limit everywhere and sadly people are slowpokes.. Can't stand it... Fines are getting higher though, got caught once and I hope never again, they want to get a point system too on the drivers license here, I'm not gonna like itFastest I did was 160km/h on my motorcycle (paper says top speed is 170,only 500cc) where 70 was allowed o:) 1 Quote

POS people drive at the speed of 50mph on left most lane. I just hate them! We have those people here too. Infact lot's of time they are the reason for accident cos people start going right in slow lanes to overtake them. 1 Quote
