Broham
I would just look at the display ports it has, I remember having trouble connecting my monitor years ago when the card I bought only had dvi-i connections.
Vanaraud
I would switch out the CPU for i5\Ryzen and upgrade the PSU, seasonic lately released new series and undercut even the Corsair prices. If you are playing with that GTX1060 on 1080p and low quality then you need i7 to max out FPS, anything else plays just fine with Ryzen too, especially in 1440p and above. This, but also z370 is "enthusiast" overclocking chipset, you should either get a k-series cpu or a cheaper chipset-basis that doesnt do overclocking if you want to save money or make it worth your while
Carbonautics
I would hold On the thought of Intel CPU's since the "security flaw" issue. For now At least till the update ryzen is better. Also there's a rumor that Intel cpu performance would degrade upto35% , idk if its true but I would do a hit more research to be cautious with intel if you store personal info on it. Other than that it looks great,

Other than that it looks great, True, supposedly from what I last heard that was their older CPUs but I'm not sure - I haven't been able to keep up on that, last I read it was claimed pre-2016 Intel CPUs would get hit much harder, which means Intel knew about this problem unless it's a big coincidence
TulsaGeoff
I can attest that I can't notice a difference on my 8700K while mining or gaming. I had read that the performance hit is a specific instruction that is used for virtualized and server environments. Also the impact is much less on new processors than older CPU's. I would still get either a 8600k or 8700k right now.
Carbonautics
I was talking from an Security of information pov, idk and won't talk about performance since I don't have newer cpu

Other than that it looks great, AMD is affected by Meltdown, which is similar to the Intel bug, Spectre. Patches have been released for both, however, so you shouldn't let either of the bugs affect your decision

Imo AMD and Intel both are affected by Spectre and last I checked AMD wasn´t affected by Meltdown. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-patches-spectre-flaw-variants,36323.html
