Who'd be interested in playing a little more competitively? I feel like in regular pub games, you kinda miss out on a huge aspect of the game- teamwork. That's not to say that teamwork isn't ever present, but would anybody be interested in getting some consistent 3v3s, 4v4s etc. going?

 

I'm just gauging interest and if we wanted to go more official with it, I'd be willing to organize and set that up.

For sure! We'd have to use one of our stopwatch servers if you are going to ask players from our servers. We need to set one up properly.

I could help with that also, if there isn't anybody willing. I'm a little rusty on the details, but I ran a server or two for about a year waaaay back in the day. We had a pub server for a while and a private server for scrims.

Also, after reading the wiki about FA's scrimming policy, I want to make it clear that it would just be for fun. No jerks allowed

suggestion: Cheep could you set up the usa et pro server not the european one ? 

There is already a few popular euro et pro public servers, and the organised nights on FA euro et pro. But not really any popular usa based et pro public servers

 

i know players from down under and south americans would ping much better to a usa server and it might make it more popular

Well, if we are still talking about stoowatch, then there are no popular servers. NA already has a tight community as it is and most will probably stick to nsa.

 

So for events like this its fine to play on NA, but at other times it would see less activity as a euro server

Yeah, not really talking about ETpro public servers.

I'm talking about getting like 6-12 people together and hopping in separate discord channels and playing against each other. At some point maybe setting up a pool and a consistent time to play, but that reallly depends on if we get a handful of people who even want to do it.

I can guarantee- to those who have never scrimmed- it's a blast.  Especially in a community of supportive people who just want to have fun!

I'd also be interested in getting some 1v1s going if people are down, but that's a different conversation for another time.

I would be very much down for this. Especially if it's among friends, it'd be great fun and something i've wanted to do since I started playing ET. I have pretty much no experience scrimming, so it would be great to try it out. Let me know if there is any way I can help!
