Jhonny/Shinobi Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 On a regular basis there players asking what the next map will be (Jaymod). Since at the end of the server this is displayed I was wondering if it was possible to add a command that allows to see what the next map is. !tmap = "The next map is: " Quote
DFighter Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 if im right its a ehnmod command that was removed because it caused crashes but can be wrong here Quote
Jhonny/Shinobi Posted June 18, 2017 Author Posted June 18, 2017 if im right its a ehnmod command that was removed because it caused crashes but can be wrong here Ty for the input and I assume it was the !maps command That is something I more or less suspected, but that is also why I suggested to have only the next map displayed, not the entire maps cycle to avoid any trouble. At the end of the map the next map is shown, so the variable is there somewhere, hence if it could be callable when wanted. What I don't know is if it is there during the entire map or is the variable only determined at the end, since that would be more difficult, as far as I understand. Quote
DFighter Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 It was in anycase great command ye !nextmap orso same thing or same command not sure you could see indeed what map came up next always nice to see it back 1 Quote
Clan Friend SunLight Posted June 18, 2017 Clan Friend Posted June 18, 2017 is the variable only determined at the end, since that would be more difficult, as far as I understand. This. Next map depends on the number of players in the server, and this number can change 1 Quote

Clan Friend SunLight Posted June 20, 2017 Clan Friend Posted June 20, 2017 If some players join or leave the map won't be the same anymore, that's why it is shown only at the end 1 Quote
r3wind3r Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I'd also like to see what map will be next. when i use !nextmap it says "access denied". could you add that command for all levels? doesnt matter if the map changes dependant on the amount of players. chances to get that info are still bigger that way. i started this topic to find out which map is next since i don't find the current rotation anywhere: https://fearless-assassins.com/topic/91215-current-map-rotations-sticky-topic/?hl=%2Bmap+%2Brotation&do=findComment&comment=790039 but nobody else seem to know where to find the current map rotation. in the map suggestion topics its not up to date. Xernicus Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 The command !nextmap won't show next map. If you do !nextmap server loads the next map Addition to this... rotation changes on the fly depending on how many players are connected to the server, so it's not set in stone and that's why its hard to tell which map is coming up next. r3wind3r Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 The command !nextmap won't show next map. If you do !nextmap server loads the next map d'oh Addition to this... rotation changes on the fly depending on how many players are connected to the server, so it's not set in stone and that's why its hard to tell which map is coming up next. this explains why nobody knows the map rotations but if the amount of players stays about the same, you could at least have the chance that the info given by the command might be correct, depending on where the limit is set.
