One of my favourite games I always take a break from is et. I usually quit for 1-6 months and start it up again. But it always is more and more dead but have always noticed FA is still doing good in their server. I deleted Et but might end up downloading it again, Would it be worth getting it going again. Are the servers still very active?

I would! It's still the good game it's always been, or at least here on our servers- we really try our hardest to keep the ET community alive and well like it was years back.

On our Jay1 server, you can expect to see 20-30 people per team (full server), Jay2, 8-10 people per team, Jay3 can have around 10-15 people per team on a good day.

Of course, if we have another person on our servers then it will be even more populated. ;) The more the merrier!

Yeah, there's always people on the evenings in J1, J2 and J3. From what I see, silent is pretty full. HC has people always too. J1 has people at any given time of the day :)

I mean it's not Counter Strike or Overwatch, but the game is and always has been free, and it takes about 5 minutes to install. Any computer in the world that hasn't died yet can run the game. Also, it's a great game.

This is the only multiplayer team based FPS I've ever gotten into. I actually don't play many FPS games in general, but I downloaded this game the day it came out in 2003 and I'm still playing it today.

I had a 12 year old XP computer that had ET, and I kept it around mainly for ET. It had some other old school games on there like Diablo II and the OG Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series so I didn't want to get rid of it. Ran ET just fine until it died this year. Sigh.

ET certainly isn't as popular as it used to be, but the FA servers are very active. Many days I can't get on on the first try. And hey, it's free, so you lose nothing...well, my gaming pride goes out the window when I get owned online, but that's another issue.

There's FA and I remember the existence of 1 always-active ETPro server with like 10vs10 and your everyday 6map campaign with delivery and depot added. It's a good and challenging server. I can't think of the name at all lol.

In any case, FA is by far the most active clan and provides by far the most active servers.

Yep, ET is FUN and FREE so it will always remain popular.  It's one the few good older games that still manages to bring in new players.  There are many games that have similar competitive feel.  But none that I can think of with the same level of glichy, laggy, connection errored players, and weird hitboxes.

Enemy Territory is that perfect confluence of gamer satisfaction fields that has, and most likely will always appeal to me.  Rapid-fire respawn pvp? Check.  Adrenaline-inducing, heart-pounding firefights?  Check.  "RPG" model of experience gain/continuous achievement?  Check.  Nostalgia for the golden days of PC Gaming?  Check.  Unimpeachable theme (WW II)?  Double-check and mate.

While we may miss the old days, old servers, old friends, etc.... the game goes on.  Be one of the proud Immortal Soldiery.  Reinforce the offense.  Deploy mortar.  Check for funtimes.

:cheers
