Hi all,
I totally agree with Chef about his last post.


These are my untouchable maps:

I really like these:

I think I'm not the only one having fun with NBA Panzerwar...come on guys 😉

I completely agree with Fighter and Chef has some good points.

 

Personally i think we should test 1 new map in the rotation per week or two or have a poll thread voting in a new map into the rotation and removing another.

 

Oasis for example is the worst map imo and there is some really silly maps on right now which i see a lot of ppl complaining about including myself the one with the coloured walls and the one where u go down ladders and it's all red sorry idk the names.

 

Cathedral would be a lovely addition once the xmas maps are removed.

I put silly maps on for 3 days over christmas...really worth a whine over? lol

 

Current rotation below. The issue is the amount of work it takes to change things weekly and track forum and server votes. So how I do it currently is use the warmup votes which I check every couple of weeks to weekly depending time. I have noticed over the last few years people want short maps or classics. So I suggest a core 15-20 and add 5 that rotate for the change of scene goofy maps etc. Please keep voting in warm up as it helps me a lot.

May I ask, how does the voting on maps (up/down) correlate to map pool changes? Does a map automatically get removed at a certain up/down ratio, or is the score just for evidence keeping, and the map has to be manually removed later by an admin..?

Because there are certain maps that probably 90% of players down voted, but they are still in the map pool haha

I've seen Venice was removed from the rotation, was it because of bad votes ? 

If not, could it be possible to add it again ? 😃

One thing about the amount of players on fa_temple, it's often we play this one in 6v6 (because of spectators) and it's really a big map for 12 players. Could it be possible to increase a little bit the number minimum of players for this map ? 

 

And a new map suggestion : Purefrag

Could be for 0 -> 16 players and only 15 minutes.

I think a second map like baserace (or baserace a second time in the rotation) could be awesome, it's often that players ask when is Baserace. I don't know the score but it must be pretty high no ?
