So we had this other thread here, about alien footage, and I was saying take shit like this with a grain of salt.

 

This video is a prime f***ing example of the stupidity perpetuated by the human race. This video is already blowing up all over facebook, and I've had to step it up and inform a few people as to why it's fake.

The guy would have either broken his spine from impact, or been bounced right the f*** back up through that hole a couple hundred feet. The fact that the person that posted the video wants everyone to spread it makes me want to bitchslap a mofo.

It's a cool advertisement for the park.

I realized it was all fake when they started talking about their magnet bullshit, magnetism doesn't work that way. Also, who would use that silly cartoonish UI on their so "advanced" tracking software.

In the end, it's a cool video , but I can't stand people believing its real.

I don't care if it was a "trampoline" or not the shear impact and deceleration would have ruptured his internal organs and smashed his brain into his skull. No way around it he would be dead.

Yes, I really like that part about using the Earth's magnetism to steer himself automatically, that his partner popped his parachute at about 5,000 feet (half-way to the ground) and that the fan they used to blow his clothes was too slow to approximate the nearly 200mph wind at terminal velocity.
