Clan Friend SunLight Posted October 4, 2014 Clan Friend Share Posted October 4, 2014 I would be curious to see some sample sentence... how's the grammar if compared to English Maybe some of you already know the website tatoeba.org, very interesting because there are sentence pairs in many languages, but it doesn't explain why the translation is what it is for example one sentence there says: आपका दल हमसे बेहतर है | Your team is better than ours. but, what is what in that sentence? what is 'team' for example... just out of curiosity, I would like to learn all languages in the universe, the more exotic the better ^^ but one life is not enough
Antimony
There are few things: Hindi is language in which you write as you speak it and vice versa. In sentences vowels are usually depicted as symbols on consonants unless they are used individually. (called as abugida or alphasyllabary) The common language (or active voice) construction in hindi is usually Subject + object + verbs compared to English where it is subject + verb + object. For example in |English you would write : I am eating a mango In hindi it would be : मैं एक आम खा रहा हूँ Here: मैं - Me (I) [the subject] एक - one [since there is only one mango;] आम - mango [object] खा - eat रहा - ing form of verb [indicates present continuous tense] हूँ - is [auxiliary verb?] About translation to above sentence: आपका - Yours दल - Team हमसे - ours (compared to ours) बेहतर - better है - is (it functions as auxilary verb) . Most present tense sentences end with this word

KILLERGUN
What he said translates to, "Is it your father's property?" The tone of it is used to antagonize/incite someone or tell someone to f*** off.
