Read through those, especially boss's tutorial, it will break down a lot of different aspects of aiming that a lot of people don't take into consideration when trying to improve. 

 

After you have a few of the basics burned into your skull spend a lot of time spectating the players you look up to or want to play like and learn from them.

then you could have reached your limit, or maybe not

 

if you need to improve your technique, then all you can do is practice (and maybe check your game settings, but they are usually overrated)

if you need to improve your tactics, record yourself and see why you die and/or watch better players

one simple word, practise.

 

you don't need any super configs to kill people easy.

try practisng with a variety of weapons so you can get use to how your opponent will react to you - eg. you will find it much easier to kill someone using an m1-garand, after you have practised using an m1-garand yourself

Honestly, the best way for me was this (from an absolute noob 0.5KD player):

 

1. Play Jaymod Beginners server with rapidfire, adren, and two SMGs, until you feel like you play ok..

2. Play Jaymod Recruiting server with more skilled players, usually a very hectic match style, no adren (I think?) and usually a full server.. Until you feel like you can handle it..

3. Play Silent #1 server until you get used to real/good hitboxes, as Jaymod's are pretty lax.. 

4. Play HARDCORE server with friendlyfire and very skilled players to perfect your gamestyle and aim.

 

After playing HC for a few months after doing those steps I'm sure you will improve
