Xernicus Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Hey all, after playing on jay3 quite often for the past month or so, one thing that has really started to bother me is the rooftop facing the Allies spawn on the map Aldernest. Axis (and allied) players can somehow get up there (I presume walljump?), and then frag to their heart's content. Upon being discovered, the player can move away from the ledge into undetectability. This to me, is completely unfair and appears like a glitch.I appreciate your consideration into looking into this, and I look forward to playing with you all on the ET servers. -Xern Quote
S3ti Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 It's just the way it goes with no teamdamage (nadejump) and doublejump, since both teams get up there just counter it. If someone gets to cover and you can't see him anymore, he can't see you too and don't hit you with hitscan weapons. That's not unfair in any way. There are many places on most maps which can be exploited by this settings, try to adapt and get used to it But no idea how it's "officially" handled... Quote
Antichrist Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 This is a known map glitch on Adlernest. I'm unsure if this glitch is allowed with the use of double jump, or if double jump can even get you up there. And keep in mind, using a doublejump/trickjump is allowed to complete obj after 5 minutes of map play. Exploiting map glitches is NOT allowed on our servers. If you find a player using them, please report them to an admin. http://fearless-assassins.com/wiki/index.php/W:ET_Server_Rules Quote

Allies get up by a team grenade, axis can get up by doublejump from inside. Quote
Vanaraud Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 If you can shoot them back I don´t see that as bug abusing. You can usually take cover behind corners also when facing enemies on roof. Quote
hobbit Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 It's not the clipping glitch. Allies get up by a team grenade, axis can get up by doublejump from inside. Allies can double jump up too by stacking on boxes outside H+A can't they? Been forever since i've played on a server with double jump but I think that's doable too Quote
Buckwild Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) Allies cannot double-jump to roof on adlernest ET map alone. Stacking players would do. Also, They need teammate to nade Them up Or for Artillery to send Them up... Covert in disguise are known to sneak in, Get objective And finish map before anyone can stop Them. You must be vigilant! Maximo Decimo Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 There a way to reach the ceiling in aldernest map, close to the allies spawn, but need the cooperation of a player to push you until get fly. But exploiting a glicth and take advantage to get the objetive or kill the enemies (a dirty move i must say) is not allow. 1 Quote
Drdagger Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 This only happened to once, but I once encountered a field op on the aldernest roof that stayed in the 'safe zone' and spammed artillary strikes. What about that? Quote
Maximo Decimo Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 !warn him until 3 times. If he does not listen you, !kick him. If things keep repeating, a ban for a day can solve it Quote
BnBChumMaster Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 A few players are starting to use this glitch on Silent 1. Quote
