Cicione Posted August 5, 2013 Share Posted August 5, 2013 Hi F|A. Just a quick note to introduce myself and to thank you for hosting the F|A Beginner 24/7 COD4 site. It is, by far, my favorite host site to play on. I am 45 yo, and work in the manufacturing sector selling computerized machine tools & robotics systems to the metal cutting market. We live in Chicago (no kids, but do spoil all the neices & nephews) and enjoy boardgames together like scrabble, boggle, and also play othello. I love my job and have been doing it since 1988! I have been playing COD for a few years, and stumbled upon your site after having to re-install my COD 1.7 after a computer meltdown (I had been playing v1.5). I play regularly on some weeknights and most weekends. My wife of 8 years (next week is anniversary) calls COD4 "smiting" and loves all the different names and occassionally will toss a nade just to see some nice folks explode! She travels alot for work, thus I have lots of free time to "smite". What makes F|A so good, is the administrators and simple rules. Respect everyone, no bad language, and no hacking. Simple rules that most sites do not follow, thus the constant verbal assaults and profanity, which I much prefer to not engage in.
