If you learn the maps and the main path its more easy to defend and camp-attack.

Actually, it's really useful for beginners and covers the basic game mechanics, like player classes, weapons etc. I did only play COD1 sometimes and you already noticed there's no iron sight in ET I guess. There are many strafe fights going on so you should get used to moving fast while shooting, your sprint-key will be important. Map knowledge will come over time and spectating other players for a while will help too.

2nd game, still didn't know what i was really doing but i jumped and sprinted around the place and killed some people and secured the 2nd to last spot.

I've started playing after long break. I was noob too. In additon I had like 10fps(before tweaking). No map knowledge etc.

Firstly, I've learned most of the cvars(what do they do) and switched to lowest graphics avaliable. Now I can see clearly and It't easier to spot enemy. -> If you want to lower your graphics and get higer fps http://fearless-assassins.com/topic/49238-fps-increase/

Seconly, I had to create my own cfg. Worked on it 2 days and the result of it is 2hs per kill(after some training on Stopwatch1)

As you can see It's not that hard to learn things. Little bit practise and you'll get better. On nq2 there are lots of bots(easier one) and on Stopwatch1 3vs3(harder bots) Great place for training.

Everyone are noobs at the beginnig

I have an issue with my guid. I have to join a game then leave and rejoin for my levels to work. It has never worked right for me.
