Fov 110 and mouse at 1.45

Or I go

Five 115 and mouse at 1.76

In Silent1 maxfov is 120 right? Of course i could just test it, but im currently not on a computer with et on it :)

Indeed.. On silent but also on ETpro, max fov is 120.. But not on Jaymod.. Fov is unlimited even if from 160 it's ridiculous since the only thing who will change is only the view on the sides and not anymore the range and the size of your gun will start to reduce until to disappear..

Believe it or not I play with 0.001 sensi! i cant even move the crosshair, 180 would proly take several meters.

So... i keep "yawing"! m_yaw 34

changing m_yaw is not allowed on etpro because you can fake a lower m_pitch than the allowed one.

But, I wonder why you use a very low sens and a high m_yaw if both get multiplied anyway... it's like preferring A*10B over 10A*B, it makes no sense because it's the same number.

Anyway, I stopped changing sensi, crosshair, etc, because any sens I use my xhair is mostly off target (because my coordination and reaction sux), and even if it is on the target I still don't hit (because my ping sux and my bullets don't seem to register), I guess I could as well quit :P

It's not weird, it's called placebo :P

you use cl_mouseaccel different than 0? In thast case it could make a differnce maybe, but it's been a while since I checked the formula, I don't remember. Without accel it's definitely the same.

MouseAccel is 0! Or maybe its just cuz im more skilled now compared ... few months ago!

I had somthin like: m_yaw=m_pitch=0.022, sens=1.9, 800*600... It was too slow ... i couldnt do a 180 with less than 3 mouse mvts!

And when used more sens it looked like the mouse was "jumping" (mouse quality.??)

Now its way smoother...

Anywayz i dont recommend my CFG! lolz its just for me! i ll certainly never play ETpro or Scrim...

i need u to spec me sometimz in HC and tell me what u think about me... And maybe help me improv!

I watched aiming by raziel a long time ago, an old etpro player. Good tips on straffing (side to side movement) or more complicated, circle straffing (using wasd keys in that order or dsaw whatever works for you). good tips on fov and how to keep your crosshair on target while straffing to find your sens.

seta sensitivity "1.90"

seta m_pitch "0.0151"

seta m_filter "0"

seta m_yaw "0.022"

seta m_side "0.25"

seta m_forward "0.25"

seta in_gamouse "0"

Here is a good FOV switch for a config:

bind CTRL "vstr fovswitch" // FOV switch

set far "echo ^dFOV: ^7110; set fovswitch vstr near; set cg_fov 110;"

set near "echo ^dFOV: ^790; set fovswitch vstr far; set cg_fov 90;"

now when you hit the "ctrl" key your FOV will switch back and forth from what ever values work best for you. I use the 90 fov for far firefights, good for headshots I found. 110 in close quarters, probably because I hate to be crowded so.

Use warmup time on server cos everyserver reacts diffrent to mouse ^^

Take a steady object at wal move from left to right and try to stay with your aim at the point on wall (lamp or so) If you move to left and your mouse go to right side make mouse little slower of your mouse stays behind by moving to left (so it stays a bit on left side) move mouse speed a bit up . Thats what for the warmup time is :)
