of course I believe in it because these are the facts ... but it seems to me that before this happens to be long ... I doubt that our generation will see this ... One thing is certain we will walk instead of swim ...

Man made global warming is a fact?

We're currently in the Holocene (the current geological epoch), which is an interglacial period, in this case a warm period (following Pleistocene which was a very cold period)

So naturally the climate's getting warm, but as said before, the mankind participates in the amplification of the phenomenon by releasing greenhouse gas, among other things.

Earth Core temps:

Outer core--from 4400'C in the outer regions near the mantle, to around 6100'C in the inner regions near the inner core (7,952 to 11,000oF).

Inner core--between 5,000 and 7,000 degrees C (9,000 to 12,630oF).

with numbers like this, it's hard not to have natural temperature changes.

having studied thermodynamics, i can see how global climate changes can happen naturally.

are we hurting it? yes

is it as bad as everybody is thinking/claiming? no

I don't think there has been enough data/evidence to say that we had a major impact on climate change.

I believe the gov did this . ANYTHING that happens in the world i blame the gov for it . I have a headache right now and guess who's the blame for it ?

I think Its Due to man . We are Cutting trees for house, hotels etc. we are'nt Planting trees. I know there are many reason behind it but i am a little sleepy :P

That depends on the country. I am pretty sure in most 1st/2nd world countries that trees are replanted just as fast at they are cut. It is in 3rd world countries that trees don't get replanted.

I will not be so sure :

yeah ok, but you also have a lot more people and they take up space. And also that gov'ts didn't start protecting them till later. But if you look now, I doubt you'll see a massive change. Also this map doesn't rlly give very much information.

so the yellow is forest?

Seems like we improved a lot.

Just saying I miss a legend (even when things seems obvious)

I don't care about those kind of graphs/maps if they aren't explained well.

but yeah I went to the source and there they explain the obvious :P

ps. I'm pretty sure that we have something to do with the warming of the planet, but well you die anyway and not sure if we can stop it anyway...

I believe that we definitely have a large impact, but I also believe that the earth goes through a cycle, and that we are probably in the quick warming cycle. I have seen records that have been kept where it showed that it takes a long time for the earth to get colder, but then quickly heats, and that cycle repeats.

I think we are the principal reason of the global warming, its all about that we need the resources of the planet to live, some years ago all the products that we used were against the planet, but now many of the industries are worring about to be less agressive with our enviroment.

I don't think so.

Every 26,000 years or so, the Earth comes out of it's wobble spin and tilts over or under a little more. This causes the shift in the climate of the Earth.

All man has done is made the air and water polluted beyond repair right now. We were placed here at the middle of this 26k shift so we are seeing the

first signs of the ice age that is coming. The Earth has to do this to repair and clean itself. It is a natural procession of this Earth. Not man made. The

last time the Earth did this swap is about 24000 years ago. It took 12000 years to come out of the ice age the Earth was in. So we are pretty much screwed.

The first signs of this wobble movement came in 2009 when the world's airplane transportation people and all the air forces of the world had to reset

their compasses because of the polar shift. It was reset to almost 5 degrees. It has been reset twice since then. My handheld compass is off about

8 degrees now.
