Mayans and Incas (Both predicted next cycle of the sun in 2012 which we perceive as the end of the world ) = Middle /South American,

 

Patatoes = Only existed in Middle /South America, untill they were brought to europe by the Spanish Conquistadores in 16th century. Coincidence? I think not.
