But we do now Ow, and the game is still in development. The origin came from Transport Tycoon Deluxe of 1994, and people all over the world still play today (well, OpenTTD these days mostly). Many new features, eg original only 640x480, now multiscreen possible, new signals for trains, better landscaping, better path finding, multiplayer, and way much more I can't even remember.
