This is Moxy thread at SL :P oh great Moxy i missing him this guy :(

 

lol i was the first one comment his great job :D

I can't see the link because it's been auto-shortened but it sounds like just the thing I need. I've got what I think is a mod-neutral CFG but I'm currently saving it into each folder (ETPro, NQ etc) because I can't figure out how to make it run from a single place. Some things also aren't working because I think the CFGs have become duplicated... :blush:

 

In summary please help me follow that link!

Here's a little hitsound toggle Havent tested it yet, should work fine on ETPro and ETPub though, unless Ive missed a mistake of mine while going over this. Wrote it in 5 mins while coding some excercises for homework <_< so their might be a mistake or two in their

lol @ all these cfgs with "bind F1 vote yes"

 

F1, F2, F3 are reserved for vote yes no and ready. you can't change them and you don't need to put them in your cfg to make them work.

 

that is trouble with copy-pasting random cfgs and copy/paste the game-generated settings. i suggest you only add things to your cfg that you KNOW what they do.

 

anyhow i have like 12 cfg files. kinda confusing to post all. but here is my settings.cfg:

My cfg is in probly 50 diff files xD I have an autoexec for each map, with all the spawns and timers, as well as map specific brightness and xhair settings. and an autoexec allies and axis

 

F1, F2, F3 are reserved for vote yes no and ready. you can't change them

 

 

F1 show me map spawntimes, F2 selects spawn time, and F3 starts the timer. thank god for the genii that figured that out :D

My voting stuff is this

/bind k "vsay affirmative; vote yes"
/bind l "vsay negative; vote no; unready; not ready"

 

I realize about 50% of the stuff in my cfg is useless due to cheat protection, server cvar forcing and just being useless, but i love exactly how it is :D

wth something must have changed. i swear you used to not be able to bind F1 F2 lol

 

here all bindable keyboard key, that mean you can use any key, sometimes you need to unbind before bind to change archived key or use seta instead of set

I also know this:

 

/ bind CONTROL KEYBOARD vsay greatshot great shot [d] -> this command to send a chat with the writing overall great shot and the name of the person who has previously killed!

 

 

/ cg_draw2d 0 or 1 -> This serves to remove all but the interface that is life radar stamina xp and practically you only see the weapon.

 

 

Then I also know these but I guess you know already:

/ cg_fov 110 (standard 90) -> To display angle of play.

/ cg_drawgun 0 or 1 -> Enable or remove the weapon.

/ quit -> Close the game and you find yourself in your desktop.

/ kill -> Suicide

/ + Attack -> use the weapon fired dassola

/-attack -> Disable the function written above =)
