Eazy
Hi guys , i m having issues on jay 1 for about 2 weeks now . I m having massive yellow lag spikes and some red bar. -I run an antivirus and anti malawares -I resetted modem and routers. -I already contracted isp to whine about it and they say my connection is ok and there is no loss in between them and the modem. -I ran a test my connection test and the results are the same as prior my issues . approx 33mbps download and 11mbps upload. -I did the ip stack reset as Gharib show me few years back . -I erased my client and download a new one . -I installed an other cfg then my usual one. Nothing of thoses things fixed my issues. i made 2 winmtr with few days in between each but no idea how to analyse the results of winmtr. winmtr 1: |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | xxxxxxxxxxxx - 0 | 103 | 103 | 0 | 1 | 6 | 0 | | xxxxxxxxxxxxx - 2 | 99 | 98 | 9 | 17 | 106 | 12 | | 10.170.155.18 - 2 | 99 | 98 | 10 | 16 | 77 | 12 | | 173.167.59.201 - 1 | 100 | 99 | 28 | 34 | 94 | 29 | | 96.110.32.125 - 1 | 100 | 99 | 27 | 33 | 94 | 28 | | 96.110.34.150 - 1 | 100 | 99 | 28 | 34 | 94 | 28 | | 96.110.36.118 - 1 | 100 | 99 | 28 | 34 | 94 | 28 | | 96.110.35.81 - 1 | 100 | 99 | 27 | 33 | 94 | 28 | | 96.110.37.66 - 1 | 100 | 99 | 27 | 33 | 94 | 29 | | 50.208.234.166 - 1 | 100 | 99 | 27 | 34 | 93 | 27 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider winmtr 2 |------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | WinMTR statistics | | Host - % | Sent | Recv | Best | Avrg | Wrst | Last | |------------------------------------------------|------|------|------|------|------|------| | xxxxxxxxxxxx - 0 | 116 | 116 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 0 | | xxxxxxxxxxxxx - 4 | 100 | 96 | 9 | 13 | 69 | 23 | | 10.170.155.18 - 1 | 112 | 111 | 9 | 14 | 169 | 10 | | 173.167.59.201 - 4 | 100 | 96 | 26 | 29 | 45 | 28 | | 96.110.32.125 - 4 | 100 | 96 | 26 | 28 | 40 | 28 | | 96.110.34.150 - 4 | 100 | 96 | 26 | 29 | 44 | 38 | | 96.110.36.118 - 4 | 100 | 96 | 24 | 27 | 40 | 27 | | 96.110.35.81 - 4 | 100 | 96 | 24 | 27 | 41 | 27 | | 96.110.37.66 - 4 | 100 | 96 | 24 | 26 | 38 | 27 | | 50.208.234.166 - 6 | 96 | 91 | 25 | 30 | 67 | 27 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | No response from host - 100 | 24 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |________________________________________________|______|______|______|______|______|______| WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider Let me know if you have any clue on what i should try next.

Haruhi Suzumiya
Your winmtr looks like the tracert I ran sunday evening when my ping doubled plus what felt like a 300+ ping latency. No response once I hit the choopa NY servers/nodes. There was no issues at the time with silent1 or HC, only Jay1. Gave up after a few hours and haven't checked since.

My ping has very little fluctuation like in the 40-55 range. But there is pratically constant yellow peak and occasionnal red bars. I litterally teleport 🤷♂️ Edit: i just checked and i go from 45 to 110 ping Edited April 13, 2021 by Eazy
FILIPE
@Eazy Overall, the problems may be with your ISP. And you won't do anything about it. Edited April 14, 2021 by FILIPE 1

First loss is 2% and second loss is 4%. this spreads through the whole connection to jay1. Little loss, but those packets have to be sent again trough the whole line from the start to the end wich "could" make it laggy. Imagine your connection like a international freight shipping, first you have to book a transport and then you have actually to transport the packets. your game requests packets from jay-1.clan-fa.com (connecting), so it calls your router and says establish route to jay1.clan-fa.com, so your router yells at the ISP-Headstation: connection to jay1 needed, and so on, this goes on trough the transatlantic cables and internet Aortas until the end of the line: jay1 game server. If the connection is established, the Packet transport begins like in a pipeline from jay 1 to your PC, but everytime a 100 Packets arrive at your Router, 4% of them are damaged and have to be sent again, so your router says: Hey, 4 Packets are damaged and throws them into the garbage can, then they are resent again with the next transport. but the router has to sort them out now, since they fly in with the new packets, this process is called Packet-defragging wich takes time and results in lags... I would focus on the ISP or the Modem, based on the results of the Tracert statistics. Maybee a renew of the Modems connection to the ISP again could help, or a Firmwareupdate of the Modem. do you get similar losses to the German NQ1.clan-fa.com? I already called the isp and everything is fine according to them. I changed the wire between modem and router and updated router firmware. I m not sure how i can acces the modem to update firmware tho? What bugs me is everthing was fine 2 weeks or soo ago . And now it s unplayable ... i haven t tried euro server but i did try jay 1 , jay 2 and silent. Same probleme on all . I could try to connect to euro server today but not sure crossing ocean will help my lag . I guess my best shot will be to call isp again and threatening them of switching to see if they can do anything about it. Anyhow, thx for the analysis of my winmtr 🙏
RumbleJunkie
Soooooo. I may be to blame with the conundrum 😕 I recall suggesting in open chat "try to change /cl_packetdup *0-2*" 2 IS NOT a viable option.. in-fact - Resulted in almost exactly what you're saying. I dont think it comes from this. @Eazy what kind of connection do you have? PC-> Lancable-> separate Router-> Lancable-> separate Modem-> DSL-telephone-Cable? / TV-Coaxial-Cable? / Fiber Optics Cable? /LTE-UMTS-Router? -> ISP? However: if you want to try a new "ISP" connection, you need to reset this connection first. So Check out your current Wan-IP Adress before and after resetting your Connection. (https://whatismyipaddress.com/) if it is different afterwards, your connection is succesfuly reseted. That´s what i would try. Another possability could be the deterioration of the cable from your Modem to the ISP. So if the ISP says its okay, they can say it, since 4 percent packet loss isnt that noticable when streaming or downloading, because it won´t effect the Downloadrate for most users, but lagging is. Pc -> router with ethernet cable Router -> modem with ethernet cable Modem input in coaxcial?! From isp Router is an asus ac1750. I ll try the reset connection thing and see how it goes.
