I tested out a couple servers and NQ1 doesn't have nearly as many censored words as Jay2 does. How about we use the NQ1 censor list?

for the most part 95 percent of  the time . we dont have potty mouths on server.jay2   

 

jay2 is a relaxed open server. id like to keep it just that way. i see the censor not really making a diff either way. i can understand why it was added tho. but those times are gone.

 

i can however c how if no admins are on we could have a problem......

 

i like the idea of giving it a trial. and c how it goes. when all of us buddies are on ...  . we do have to be mind ful of how we say things and it can get a littlefunny...it is a video game ..... we are here to have fun!!!!!im with mufassa here i m not to concerned either way.

 

i try too be very open  and chill on server.. i think its fair to let some one express there opinion. trolls will be trolls no matter the filter!!!!

So I could go either way on the censors.

 

I agree they add value helping admin's jobs. However, most of the words can be manipulated to say the same thing. For example, "fck, f uck, fk, etc. I'm sure you get the message. Where I really struggle, as HipKat pointed out, we have two vsays with the word, pussy, but it can't be typed. Also, we have one vsay with the "n word" but it is a censored word. Either we are all in or all out - the halfway doesn't get it.

 

One more thing, I am very curious why Turkey is censored, but Shit is not.

Bug 😛 People didn't reported it so far, I guess or i missed it after the report. I miss old tracker which we used to have where we used 1 report per issue. Now all gets clubbed. 

 

I am going to work on resolving that so all the issues are handled efficiently. Miss the Tracker option on site which we had.

 At the time I commented Agreed with what cabal had said.. but having time to read further agree with parts of redbaird and DD as well... ( I still do play on jay 2 can ask players was there recently )
