hi all    i just have buy a new laptop and have put my old  maps on the usb stick and coppied to the new laptop   no i wand to start  with the game and i get a message   could not  opengl   missing files     what is the best i can do ?    i have copy my guid  also its on the usb stick        i dont no  if i  do a complete new download  i think i lose  my xp en settings    what can i do to keep it ?   the system  is now windows 10        the old system was windows 7      i hope u can help me  thanks

Copy your etkey from your old laptop, it is in your etmain folder. Than you can do a new download on your new laptop. Next step is to place your etkey in your etmain folder of your new laptop :)

 

Dunno what the open gl problem is.

Reinstall the game and it should be fine. If you install 2.60b version, paste etkey in your 'etmain' folder where ET is installed. If you're gonna install ETLegacy, which is better optimized for newer systems, paste etkey in Documents>ETLegacy>etmain.

 

If you want to keep your lvl and xp from silEnT mod servers, find and copy a file silent.dat from 'silent' folder from your old PC and follow steps above accordingly.

u could also try setting the compatibility too w7 or older..and set to run ase admin!.

the specs are   intel core i5 cpu   m450  2.40 ghz     6 gb ram    64 bit  x64 proccessor    windows 10 home      its a  15.6 screen             pfff   i try and try nut it dont works     keep get the loadig screen an then  a           warning could not load OpenGL subsystem

Did u try update your graphic drivers?

here is a video how to update your graphic card

right mouse button on start then to device control then to screen adapters there you see your video card and there you can update it

let me know if this video is use full so it might be placed permanent on forum in a topic

i see my intell hd graphics   card   and there is no update for     i have also remove  it  and restart the system  and it  doesnt  help           i  try it again  tomorow  to find the prob   its  01.10   i have to go sleep  pfff and i dont want it      but i must
