Add Map -> Map name  + URL to download the map - if not in our download section, upload and share URL.
Remove map -> Map name

 

Can provide multiple add/remove maps in same post.

I need confirmation, since I need to update the tutorial on scripting which includes current map rotation. Also, I use this script frequently, cause people often ask for next map name.

 

Also, if this is the current rotation, I am surprised to see am_hydro_dam with almost -250 score is still in rotation. It is the most hated map on Jay1 and we lose around 10 players each time this map pops up, so why insist on it?

i would love transmiter and i think overlord should be limited at 32 because it s almost impossible for allies to get obj that is next to axis spawn point.

That's true - they spend 20 minutes trying to come in the gate and getting killed before they get very far. 

 

I think I saw the map vote was -43 already on that map

I'm glad that Oasis is out, but i'm still waiting for Helmsdeep  <_<

 

Also Marrakech Streets 2 Night final is still in, please replace it for Helmsdeep.

 

And I was wondering when will their be a christmas map come on? Many players are asking for the Fueldump Xmas edition.

Marrakech Streets is fine. Not too many people complain about it. Fuel Dump Desert is probably not a great choice. BUT, I could be wrong on that one.

When analyse the rotation map list I noticed a few things, the things I noticed I have coloured red: some maps are double and some maps are never seen in the server.

So I checked trackbase to see which list they have http://et.trackbase.net/server/44135/maps/

I found out that we should have 33 maps in Jay1 according to trackbase but on our current rotation list in this topic we should have 36 maps.

 

So I started the puzzle. I put the two lists together and the next things caught my attention

Conclusion

Oil Kombinat Final” isn’t in our current rotation list but it’s comes up in the server.

 

We have two versions of “Fuel Depot Final”, etdo6 and etdo1 in the list.

 

For “Special Delivery TE Final” we have two times the same version in the list but the max amount of players is difference.

 

And the map “Caen2” and “tc_base” should come up in the server but they never appear, I have never seen them in Jay1 and also trackbase doesn’t show them.

 

Suggestion for more rotation: Lets take those double maps and the maps that never comes up out and put new maps in.

Oil Kombinat etdo1 

Within the name of map there are two numbers: 0,36 ( that means it will load when there is minimum 0 players and maximum 36 players on server). Tc base or caen2 won't load when there is more than 32 players. Bots count too so it could happen that these maps won't load :) 

Will try to catch DD to fix maps, soon.

I was going to point out the same thing. In the morning when the server only has >25 ppl on it, those other maps show up

Well, i know that the first number stands for the minimum amount of players/bots and the second number is standing for the maximum amount of players/bots. But that's not the point. If you look at the information according to trackbase you see that those maps never come up.

 

Also not in the morning HipKat. I play everyday (in the morning, afternoon, evening and even sometimes midnight). When i play in the morning the server is allmost empty, there are like 16 till 20 slots taken by players and bots. Even then those maps dont come up.

 

What i tried to say in my previous post is: the list "the current new map rotation" is full of errors.

 

Fact is some maps dont come up, not even when the amount of players/bots in under the maximum number

 

And the other fact that you guys are ignoring is: some maps are twice in the list.

 

Please take a good look at my previous post (especially the conclusion). I have double/triple checked my information. Lets take Jay1 to a new level!

maps in jay1 delivery isnt double just a type error
the maps with the settings low do get played sometimes but since the amount of people in jay1 that doesnt happen often
the reason why the settings stand low is simple if you play them with more people its simply to much people for that map
trackbase show indeed latest played maps but not from earlyer sessions so not very accurate in this case
the map rotation isnt full of errors as far I know and understand the settings are there on purpose and if im correct bots are not counted for this so with a low player amount all maps shoud load as far I understand but ill leave that to someone who actually know all the facts :)
