Fire from the sky can be a scary movie but could be terror, this close encounter movie tells a truth story worthy to be seen.

I feel almost ashamed to admit this, but I had never seen the Godfather until this week. Wife and I got sucked in the Paramount plus show The Offer which is a series about the making of the movie from the producers perspective. Kind of a backwards way to see the Godfather since I watched the Offer first, but it lives up to the hype and then some. I guess millions of people of and tons of critics were right, a pretty good movie haha.

it has humorous scenes that actually make you giigle but also very frightening ones - love the darkness of that movie.

Capernaum (8,4 on imdb)

Zain Al Rafeea, a real Syrian refugee who had been living in Lebanon, was only 12 when he starred in Capernaum.

What makes it even more haunting is that the character shares his real name, blurring the line between performance and lived experience.

The film follows a boy growing up in the slums of Beirut who takes the unimaginable step of suing his parents for bringing him into a life of suffering. Through flashbacks, we witness his reality, his bond with an Ethiopian migrant worker and her child, and the quiet resilience that holds him together.

The film’s raw, documentary-like storytelling and Zain’s deeply personal performance shook audiences worldwide, earning a 15-minute standing ovation at Cannes and an Academy Award nomination.

Some stories don’t feel written. They feel lived. This one truely gave me goosebumps.

For those who didn't know....
The map in ET: "eagles_2ways_b3.pk3" is based on the 1968 Movie: Where Eagles Dare!! Here is the trailer Starring Clint Eastwood. Classic movie that still kicks ass! 😎

"The story of Where Eagles Dare follows a Special Operations Team during World War II, tasked with the mission of rescuing an Allied general being held captive by Axis* in the fortified (and fictional) Schloß Adler castle. When the team arrives, however, things take a shocking twist of a turn... It's an action-packed thrill ride of intense espionage that almost any fan of historical fiction or war films in general is sure to be highly entertained by." — Rotten Tomatoes

Probably my favorite gaming map inspired by a movie \m/
