Scripts that may alter game play to give the user a distinct advantage over other players are prohibited. These scripts for example, may include anti-recoil scripts and mortar scripts.

I was wondering what qualifies as an anti-recoil script. I normally raise my m_pitch to something like 0.06 when I play sniper, which doesn't exactly fulfill the criteria for a script. But I also can't think of any way you would make a script that reduces recoil, sooo - would my m_pitch change be allowed?

Adjusting m_pitch/m_yaw, or toggling it using vstr is allowed.

Fast response! Thanks, this can probably be deleted or something. I didn't really see an appropriate place to ask it.

Somebody will want an answer to your "anti-recoil" question in the future.  We will leave this topic here for them to find.

Players have been banned for using "recoil-scripts".

We will not discuss how they are constructed, so that none of our readers are tempted to make or use one.

Change your FPS to 71 and you'll reduce recoil by about half ;)  Xerny basically summed up the rest.  You can bind a key to toggle any accessible setting or write a script to do multiple at once. What you can't do is write a script that will automatically move the crosshair down on its own or use certain bugs that remove recoil completely.

hey guys :D

my question is related to anti recoil script and also asking here.

i see on the net  many mouse macros and anti recoil macros or fire rate macros, is that allowed?

is that detected by our AC?

Not sure what is or isn't detected by the AC but as long as it follows what's allowed to be scripted within ET (see above), then at least it's morally ok  :thumbsup

IIRC these built in macros were deemed as unfair because they could achieve more than you can with cfg / cvars Edited by Chuckun
