DrSpreadem Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 So.. iv'e noticed there isn't an age restriction for this over 18's game to join the clan, i agree with most its a cartoon game blah blah blah let the kids blow shit up, i'm suggesting for player's(kids) an age restriction for admin levels aswell as tags they should also have Tags i.e =JnrA= junior admin or make your own w/e, also to the same players that are over 18 and have levels FA gives them to only use those command providing a competent Admin is not on the server. i'm not having a pop at anyone, its a suggestion is all. I can tell you from my point of view, not all kids are bad or have bad intentions. Considering my age, I know my limits, and I know my extents. I personally do not think this is a good idea, because we already have the extended trial phase, and many other things. "But sonofdoc, you are you saying this because you are 14!", yes I am. I understand where you are coming from with this idea, but if you come to think about it there are several things one would have to do to become an admin. Such as Apply, get accepted, have a good reputation, etc. And for someone to get a level without any of that, would be near impossible. 4 Quote

There aren't special kiddies sections for the younger admins. If you have been accepted into the clan, then you have earned and proved yourself worthy enough to wear the tag. Not just anyone is selected or allowed to join. If you possess the qualities we seek, then there is no reason why you shouldn't be accepted. Of course we do consider age because under a certain age there is a question of whether said person is mature enough to handle the responsibilities. This is why we have an extended application phase, to allow us to observe the applicant properly for the younger dudes. If they do well, then they deserve to be with us. Besides, everyone is different, its not a black and white situation. There are 20 year olds, 30 year olds that behave like 5 where as on the other hand, there are plenty of young teenagers that behave a lot better and more mature than a full grown adult. So we look at each case separately and give each and everyone a chance to prove themselves. Im not sure what drove you to make this thread but no. P.S. calling him kid isn't helping. Only trying to stir up trouble. I expect you to behave a little more like your age and not your shoe size since im assuming you are an "adult". So try to avoid throwing insults around. Chuckun Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Just FYI, I was moderating and administrating some high profile websites and forums on the web when I was 14 years old. And I mean commercial entities not game forums.. Of course I doubt they realised I was 14 - I never lied about my age ever but was not asked either. My attitude was all anyone cared about.. Anyway, my point is, young people aren't always immature. They can be an asset. 2 Quote
