Capture The Flag for SILENT

Hello all,

id like to poll members and players to this idea,

 

Replace an unpopular, unplayed map in silent for a CTF map.

It wouldn't hurt the srver as far as I can see, since a few maps are never, if ever vote on, i.e Cathedral.

Some new type of gameplay, CTF would be a refreshing Beta test, if it gets plays (votes) then maybe there's some potential, if not, then it can be replaced later with another map, and Ive been told, having DJ would be a benefit while racing across the map with the enemy flag.

I'd like some Quake 3 sounds incorporated, but baby steps first.

 

Maybe some input and suggestions for some CTF Map candidates,

i think that most hated maps, could be recycled with new ones. we should vote most hated maps

there are some maps that are played over and over, but there is a reason for that. players are familiar with these maps and they are usually scrim maps. and there are maps that are played on Silent1 that may be regularly played and enjoyable to players there, yet probably wouldn't even get 1 vote on HC. 

 

cathedral, have played that for years but i haven't played it for several months and i dont mind it at all. its a good change from Supply Depot or Braun or Adler. but it probably would not get a single vote on HC.

Yeah cathedral is awesome . I last played it 5 years ago on my old clans server....decent map actually. Underrated for sure. I voted yes btw.

I've never played the CTF maps: firelite, warring gods or multidemo but CTF Face_b1 is an old favorite.

 

Gravity is reduced so you can jump down the tower ledges, Teleporting up!
