I must state, its hypocritical of anyone to use them in an spamming fashion themselves and then complain and use admin commands when others do the same. Thats negligent use of authoritative command usage. I can concede that if they fill yer screen with them, that there should be something done about it.. the texts all over the screen can and sometimes is very distracting.. i do wish there was an Option to not even have the sounds and texts heard or seen.. i know of no method as such as of yet. Once again.. cg_novoicechats 1 or 0 to turn on or off these sounds solves everything but the text portion. If you like hearing your own vsays then expect to hear others when they get much more annoying. You cant have your cake and eat it too in this case. Its an on/off switch only, theres no dimmer for this. I just can't believe this is turning into a 2-3 page situation. Quote

And just to add, this is not only about the vsays, but rather (for me) about the things like !head, !pwned, ... You cannot block these and when they get spammed I find it extremely annoying, especially when I'm sneakin' around behind enemy lines (searching for mortars/panzers) and it's vital for me to hear well. Off-topic, does anyone know the command for turning off the 'announcements' in NQ? E.g. things like 'Killing spree', 'Holy shit' that keep getting spammed by the console when the server is decently populated. Quote

True, however IF you recieve any messages, friend, foe or admin.. You dont get them at all and in the aspect of an admin tellin u stuff and u dont reply, that looks like youre ignoring them.
