This Euro is honestly one of the worst i have ever watched, god damn and shit teams who cant make one bloody chance or proper attack in 90 min and all they do is park the bus infront of their own goal, shoot all balls off the opposing pitch and wait for 90 min to be done, what a pathetic way to play on Euro, should of just let the old standard size of teams and at least u would have some proper gaming to be watched and not having 30 shots compared to 4 onto goal at end of 90min...

true the level of the matches is lower then usually however most matches had nice goals and many chances that makes it better then usually the 0-0 or 1-1 matches

I totally agree. However, it was the first round.. Now the tension is hopefully gone and proper amount of goals can achieved!

I had this tension of the first round in mind me too.. But aside 1 or 2 match really pleasant to watch.. Most of them was at a very poor level and disapointing.. Especially those that included experienced teams\that already participated at the latest World Cup and shouldn't have this issue of tension.

 

 

What I saw:

- teams with their star(s) but no team play at all or totally inefficient in front of medium defense\attack lineups: France,Portugal,Belgium,Sweden

- teams w\o "star(s)" but with a good team play\fighting spirit: Italy,Eire,Hungary

- those who showed they had star(s) and a team play: Croatia, Poland, Spain, Germany(even though, weaker than expected imho)

- confirming their status of favorite: Germany & Spain

My analysis:

 

 

I think the German and France team will grow during the tournament. Tension will fall down and its only that they meet in semi final that they wont play the final. Spain still is a team and has great stars.. So they will make the final..

 

Portugal is Ronaldo which is a blessing but also their "untergang". His ego will not change towards a teamplayer which i think they need to reach the final.

 

Belgium has great players not really a teamspirit and a really bad coach.. Too mich ecpxtations will lead to too much tension imo.

 

Italia is real experience team and showed great skillz. I guess they have the potential to reach the semifinal.

 

Sweden, i really hoped zlatan understandes he needs his team.. But his ego is too bright shining just like ronaldos.

 

Crotia and ukrain were a nice supprise and are the 2 teams for me who are now the outsiders to get far..

Didn´t see the last matches. But what made me think in last cups was that when those "ego stars" started to focus on team play things went even worse.

I mean if you have 11 Ronaldos, then you have to focus on team play. But if the rest of the team is not so good, then you have to give "ego stars" free hands(feet) to cause chaos near the goal, so rest of the team can sneak up and shoot goals. It´s so boring to watch how "ego stars" play defence and pass balls only for others to loose it in instant.

 

The other matter is the so called "ego stars" aren´t much of a stars, I mean they should out smart at least 2-3 players but instead loose ball the moment they get the pass.

Germany and Spain are a bit this team you describe like having 11 Ronaldos, but w\o egos taking the upper.. All playing together and for their team.

 

Croatia and Poland have only few good players.. But same thing here, whole team raised its level pushed by their best player(s) and developed a good team play. Not the way to do of some players like CR7 or Ibra for example who tend more to overwhelm\blame their team mates.
