My first sens was 3.5 and mouse was over 7 years old probably 400 dpi. Its mouse feet were worn out and I used a ball mice pad.:blink:

I bought a new mouse a few weeks ago and now my sensi is down to 2.6. Im still trying to perfect it though.

my average is 2.8 to 3.2 or something like that... depends how my gameplay is on that day

Whajjaaaa you crazy man =P.

Lol I play on sens 1.5-1.6 usually

Sometimes 5.0 only if I am trying to go rambo throwing knife medic.

lol. I was actually joking. It's 1.4-2.0 depending on how I'm doing that day. I mainly switch up my DPI according to my class.

If you guys know LostHope, the guy plays with a sens of 15. I couldn't even drink coffee with a sense that high. I'd be aiming all over the place...as opposed to how I usually play, which is aiming everywhere but where I'm supposed to. :yahoo

I think he lowered it to 9 the other day to test it out. Still nuts though.

Here is a neat config script that lets you switch your sensitivity from 0.5 to 5.0 with your keypad. Just drop it in your autoexec.cfg

bind KP_END "sensitivity 0.50; echo ^6sens 0.50" //KP 1

bind KP_DOWNARROW "sensitivity 1.00; echo ^6sens 1.00" //KP 2

bind KP_PGDN "sensitivity 1.50; echo ^6sens 1.50" //KP 3

bind KP_LEFTARROW "sensitivity 2.00; echo ^6sens 2.00" //KP 4

bind KP_5 "sensitivity 2.50; echo ^6sens 2.50" //KP 5

bind KP_RIGHTARROW "sensitivity 3.00; echo ^6sens 3.00" //KP 6

bind KP_HOME "sensitivity 3.50; echo ^6sens 3.50" //KP 7

bind KP_UPARROW "sensitivity 4.00; echo ^6sens 4.00" //KP 8

bind KP_PGUP "sensitivity 5.00; echo ^6sens 5.00" //KP 9

I think that's too much key bind for only 1 cvar (sensitivity), from your script we can make one with 1 bind: (choose what you want as a key)

here i used KP_END

set sen1 "echo ^6Sen^3-^60.5; set sensitivity 0.5; set sentoggle vstr sen2"
set sen2 "echo ^6Sen^3-^61.0; set sensitivity 1.0; set sentoggle vstr sen3"
set sen3 "echo ^6Sen^3-^61.5; set sensitivity 1.5; set sentoggle vstr sen4"
set sen4 "echo ^6Sen^3-^62.0; set sensitivity 2.0; set sentoggle vstr sen5"
set sen5 "echo ^6Sen^3-^62.5; set sensitivity 2.5; set sentoggle vstr sen6"
set sen6 "echo ^6Sen^3-^63.0; set sensitivity 3.0; set sentoggle vstr sen7"
set sen7 "echo ^6Sen^3-^63.5; set sensitivity 3.5; set sentoggle vstr sen8"
set sen8 "echo ^6Sen^3-^64.0; set sensitivity 4.0; set sentoggle vstr sen9"
set sen9 "echo ^6Sen^3-^65.0; set sensitivity 5.0; set sentoggle vstr sen1"
set sentoggle "vstr sen1"

bind KP_END "vstr sentoggle"

obviously depends on the mouse you use and internet speed etc...i usually use 1.6 on my shit mouse at home, 2.1 on my dell at work

That works too, Medic.

I actually use that script above with my Razer Naga mouse, it has 12 buttons on the left side, each assigned to one key on the keypad. So I bound the keypad keys to a different sensitivity so I can switch on the fly from 0.5 to 5.0 (for example) with one button. That works for me, and I don't have to toggle through all the other settings to get to the one I want in a firefight.

It works on the keypad keys, so anyone could use it without needing a fancy mouse.

Excuse me, but what is the idea of switching sensitivity? For sniper one, yes, but to have millions of different sens binded o_O

And the total sensitivity(how fast crosshair moves on your screen) depends on some things:

Windows sensitivity

Mouse's DPI(CPI)

In-game sensitivity

Mouse acceleration(if enabled, and comes up when moving mouse a bit faster, it should be disabled anyway, some people just have used to be playing with it)
