You need a good coordination in a team to make it. Giving the attacking team +2 players if mapprogess is shit can help. LunaKawaii Posted June 22, 2023 Share Posted June 22, 2023 I like the new map rotation very much you guys done a great job! 😌 Still I would like to add some map inspiration, so when we are in need of some new maps 🙃 Had alot of fun and memories on those: Snatch! 3 final (snatch the objective from the axis base) Tc base (dynamite 2 antennas) Golden dunk alpha 2 (basketball field) Saberpeak final (beaches and submarines) Chicken bucket 2 final (winner winner chicken dinner aka KFC) ET POKER BETA 2 (play on a giant poker table carry around cards as objectives) Cluedo 1.3.0 (like in the boardgame) absolutely love this map Haunted mansion final (spooky and i like it) Chartwell final (mansion with a nice garden) Weisbaden final (stop axis from fueling and launching the v2 rocket) Exodus a4b (looks like bombed berlin) Praetoria mission two final (beautifull map) X-posed (winston churchill map) Colosseum beta 5 (play in and around a huge gladiator arena) Cheers! Bynke Posted June 22, 2023 Share Posted June 22, 2023 (edited) I played a game today on mlb daybreak. A fun map and a map i think many people like. But not so fun if the teams are uneven and the spawn points are broken. The problem is once allies was pressed back to where axis only had to blow the "dam gate" that big gate after a walkway over an area with water. Allies spawn inside the bunker and can only reach axis through a team door. There are a list of things that can make this map not so funny with uneven teams. Other than it being a big map with a possible fps related problem. The real problem is axis spawns really close to allies who can only reach axis through a team door and has to swim outside. Basically a spawn fest. There are quite a few spawn points. Or two for allies at that stage. The rocket base spawn and power dam spawn. And heres the problem which migth be a very old bug in ET. Allies spawns at this stage at power dam spawn now allies could spawn at the rocket base and that could alleviate a possible spawnrape situation (made me think of railgun with axis pushed way back and spawnraped except allies has more than one spawnpoint.) But here comes the problem which i think migth be a bug or an old problem. I couldnt change my spawnpoint. I think the game overrules you picking an alternate spawnpoint and default place you at the dam. It has been a problem before and can be changed with using a spawnselector script. (i havent got one).
