I thought no1 will call me cheater now but looks like that won't end unless i stop playing et, Got banned for random generic cvar violation (cg_radar 0) . So why i created this topic is that : 

 

1. Don't Download RANDOM cfg,script coz pb is still effective 
2. Even if you do check for pb cvar list before joining any server which have Private AC or PB enabled there, so edit it first and then join 
3.in my case i got kicked oh yeah kick for 1200 mins n not banned on Public etpro server ( u know it well )

there are many cvars like that, +reload;-reload, +attack;-attack, ch_espname, ch_chams, ch_spawntimer

 

just watch your cfg before using or use one of someone you know....

Just add the cvars in your config which are engine cvars. This is what you get downloading random configs LOL

 

But anyways your ban will be lifted 99.99% @ PBBans.  Lesson learned? Don't repeat same mistake again.

There used to be some site / program which would perform scan at the cfg cvars and potentionally show up anything that would be fishy/bannable by PB/other anti cheat programs, can't honestly recall anymore what it's called but maybe Dare have bit better memory than me

It depends on what variable you use and few other things ETBot uses it for auto aim. Luckily we don't use cvar scans on our servers so it doesn't matter. 

 

We only check if cheat is loaded or not. If it is ban and if not no ban. But if we want to yes we can scan for cvars as well.

Checked the old (unedited and it showed cg_Radar is used in cheats )  so that's why i got my name there...(pb bans i mean)

Alternatively, if you are afraid to download ET Configurations with cheat cvars included in it, you can download ET Configurations from trusted sources such as Fearless Assassin's Player Configurations Download or you can personally request from a trusted player for his/her ET Configurations.

 

After reading your crossfire thread on this issue, I think it is just a mistake that meehow's ET Configuration contained that cvar. As the rest have suggested, I guess it is a good habit to check if any of these cheat cvars manually just to be safe.
