Its funny, because she almost got disassembled and the guy was just casually telling her about it nonchalantly like its no big deal, also the thought of firing every nanny, translator, housekeeper, and prostitute in the world just because ps3 makes an android is hilarious.

And, the best part for me, although I didn't mention it because I'm likely more a nerd than you people, is this is a visual representation of the moment of technological singularity- one of the most feared moments in our age as it could be the demise of our world, terminator style, the matrix style, or whatever you prefer- the moment a machine gains the ability to truly think on it's own, have emotions, and thus pass judgement on a human- how would we be judged? As a biological science major, I assure you humans are identical to viruses, if we pose a threat to Kara here, maybe she will just play nice nice and get in the box, then when she is bought go batshit crazy on us and kill us all while amping up kara production to increase the members of her own race? That is after all what a human would do, yes?  ^^

My reply about screwing the robot was an attempt to justify my title in response to katon's comment... It's not as if I just randomly created a thread talking about sex... And i dunno what kinda kids you have met, but the kids I knew when I was a kid talked a bout sex a whole shitload more than any adults I have ever met- I mean hell, you even said yourself that talking about sex in this forum is childish lol..That sir, is an excellent example of oxymoronica if I ever read one.

 

What's more is this is the internet- If a parent does not utilize the censorship technology available nowadays to prevent a child from reading my post here, then said child is going to be exposed to far, far more perverse media that my video or my comment.. I would never intentionally expose a kid to unsuitable material, but likewise i am hardly responsible for the upbringing of every child who can access the internet. As far as being disgusting goes, what exactly disgusted you? did you mean to use that word? or was there not a better one available?

First of all... what's with all of the insulting? It's completely uncalled for if you ask me. So you don't like the video- or you have an issue with some of the content... just move on. It's not as if this is unique in that respect.

I find this rather interesting, as I see more and more advances in cybernetic technology with each day. To be honest, I've often fathomed and dreamed about creating something completely autonomous myself. Whether it will happen in my lifetime, I do not know. However, somewhere, some time, there will be AI, and artificial emotion. And I don't think it will be the bane of human inventions like everybody is thinking it will be, provided that there are programming safeguards, and the like.

This community is family friendly. We have kids as young as 13, and probably more younger still. As a parent myself, a 5 and 3 year old, I would feel safe allowing my children to use this forum. Considering censorship technology only works on entire websites, from what I remember, it would appear you're suggesting the forums should be censored by parents?

Also, quite a lot of parents don't know how to use the internet, or censorship technology, and assuming that they do is incredibly narrow-minded. While you might not expose a child intentionally, you need to be aware that we do have young children that visit this forum because we make sure it's "safe" to visit this forum.

While I personally enjoyed the general theme of the video, I would not have shown it to my children and wouldn't have felt happy about them watching it if they were 10 years older.
