I cant send my new Riddick ratings tomorrow because post is one day late. But back in this movie. I think this is best Sci-Fi movie what i saw. I not like so much Sci-Fi movies. I think this is best action movie what i never saw. The Boondock Saints and The Boondock Saints II are my second favorite action movies. As i say previous ratings Vin Diesel doing very good job when he acting Riddick. I cant see anyone who can be better Riddick than Vin Diesel is. Prison scene is my all time favorite scene the all action movies what i ever saw. That black humor and action mix is so great. Linus Roache doing very good job in Purifier and i love those battle scenes what you can see couple in this movie. In minus i always laugh that "mobile phone" what they use. They invent spaceships and great guns but what happend to mobile phones what you can put your pocket. In this movie that "mobile phone" is some "phantom". You understand what i mean when you see movie. Only scene when they use that mobile phone is when Vaako and Dame Vaako talking through that "phantom". Biggest minus is that we Riddick fans must wait new Riddick movie almost ten year. That too much. Yeah they make couple cartoons movie where Vin Diesel is voice of Riddick and thats show how much he love to acting Riddick that he ready to give his voice in cartoons and games. Movie main theme is that sometime that can you stop the evil you need another kind evil to win battle! Riddick must save to world! I think this is my all time favorite movie number seven. My top 3 is Pianist, Titanic and Uprising. Mia Wasikowska doing very powerful acting performance. Sometimes when you are watched movie its create thoughts and usually because movie was good or someone was good in the movie and Wasikowska (Chaya) always create thoughts after movie, as one of Iben Hjejle (Bella) role scene. Its good that you see that they try use native language too when movie happens in Belarus its good that even some of secenes is Russian speech. Those two Hjejle and Wasikowsk was doing so great job that they earn extra mention, but you can see good acting performance from many actors like, Daniel Craig (main actor), Allan Corduner, Mark Feuerstein, Jamie Bell and Liev Schreiber. Music was good and powerful and respect that time. Movie is true story and movie tell story of Bielski four brothers (Daniel Craig was Tuvia, Liev Schreiber was Zus, Jamie Bell was Asael and George MacKay was Aron). Bielski brothers help hundreds Jewish people in Belarus on Natzi-German occupation. Movie tell what adversity they must tolerate and how they fight back. Its tell how they live in forest when they was hiding. Very good movie what is very inspiring and if you like history movies, this is movie what you must see. Why they change that Riddick person he was great before - Too much Boring moments - Big disappointment - Jordi Molla (Santana) acting performance In the end. Movie was big disappointment. I wait this movie 9 year. I was angry that they change so much that Riddick character. I give some example what they change and what i not like. Old Riddick in Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick movies was hero, he was not afraid anyting, he was not need help when he fight and he was "lone wolf". In this new Riddick was more human than hero. Before you always wait that when Riddick show his cool eyes now he is more without glasses than within glasses. And in old movies you wait that when Riddick say what he will come to do. Now he tell what will happenin in next 30 min in this movie. Its not funny when that thing, what was before highlight the movie is now too much repeated thing. I give example what i mean, if you go to supermarket and you see new Ferrari you are like wow and take picture and you are happy that you see new Ferrari. But if you see everyday couple Ferrari when you go to supermarket its not feel so good anymore its like normal thing. Or if you see some big celebrity when you are walking to home you are Wooow and ask that he give his autograph, but if you see him everyday he like normal person to you. Movie was boring too. When Chronicles of Riddick movie Riddick steal bounty hounter spaceship its take about 2 min in this movie its take 2 hour, daam what happen to Riddick, not know how to steal spaceship anymore? First when he woke up on that new planet i think that movie main theme will be that Riddick go and revenge what those Necromongers do him. Before i start watch this movie my biggest wishes was that they not change that Riddick character and that they continue that story where that The Chronicles of Riddicks end, but those both wish not happen. It was only one minute quick review how Riddick end up that new planet. Jordi Molla is one of my favorite actors but in this movie he was big dissappointment. Movie was boring. Too slow. Many time go 10 min and nothing happen. Maybe some Riddick fan like this new Riddick and this movie but i not like. I not hate this new Riddick because im happy that Vin Diesel continue to Riddick role he was best thing in this movie! And even movie was disappointment it was better that they make this movie that not make movie at all. My Rating is 7 PS. I will be very happy if i see you movie ratings too. Midnight Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 The past three: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty 8/10- It was a bit slow in the beginning, but it picked up and I really liked the message. I'm bad with actors/actresses, but I think everyone played their part really well. Some touching moments and there was a really nice twist towards the end. 47 Ronin 9/10- Again slow in the beginning, but I think the story needed to be told. Love samuari movies and definitely has a non-conventional ending. The witch played here part very well. Here minion ruler, not so much. Jack Ryan 6/10- Disappointed. It was engaging as in I could watch it, but the action was blah, the story line blah, the acting was blah. So as you can see not much plus or minus. Movie was tasteless and actors doing decent job. I never liked Clooney but in this movie he doing decent job too. It was little bit strange to watch how USA choose they governors and presidents. In our system (Finland) that person who get most votes from over 18 years people win. We have no electoral votes (not sure for translate) only in popular vote. Our system work very well. Even that feel little bit strange that some can lose even that he get most of popular vote, i not say its wrong system what USA use, its strange because i have no own experience from that. I always separate what is movie and what is real but maybe someone cant separate what is movie and what is real and then this movie can give little bit wrong picture. So movie main theme is that its follow Stephen (Ryan Gosling) who is junior campaign manager for Mike (George Clooney). Mike is Democratic president candidate and he competing against Tedd Pullman (you can see Pullman in movie only couple time) Movie tell what Stephen must to do that Mike can win competition, and all decisions are not easy. As you can see i not find any minus in this movie and its rare that i not find minus. Movie tell story what is based in actual evens, what happened in Nanking when Japan invades China. John Miller (Christian Bale) try his best to safe schoolgirls who lives in church. He get help from Chinese boy call George. Almost start of the movie Chinese prostitutes seek for safety and come live in church too. As you can see i have many plus. All child actors doing very good acting performance. Christian Bale is very good again. Movie is very very touching and powerful. I like that they use Mandarin and Japanese in this movie too and not only english. Movie is time to time very hard to watch because its not embellish war or events.
