cod4 server Beginners, my view.

But not everyone is so pro as you.

So campin is allowed for snipers but not for others? Then we would have a ton of snipers camping. I am sure we loss people over it but we also loss people if we have too many rules. We also loss people over not having kill cams, not having bullet proof vest, for having helis that kill too much and because im on the server.

 

Yea, i know it's dificult but i think it's a good idea. But a need know whet think other member.

 

 

Thanks! but unfortunately in this case one member isnt enough to be able to cover camping. We would need 4 times as many admins as we have right now. So to help you can recruit more people, then maybe we can start warning for camping.

I do that on beginners, and if i can do an other stuf, call me!

Yea, totaly agree, but if you have 7 or 8 player who camp a lot, it's hard...

I hear you Killer. But as frustrating as campers are, it's all part of the game. As stated before, once killed a couple times, you can usually get these campers (though you have to be quick or sneaky).

Going back to the topic of this little discussion. Beginners seemed to me to have it's name not because only beginner of the game play on the server but that there were a lot of "equalizers" allowed on the server. Like grenade launcher, last stand and the mentioned possibility to camp. So that people new to the game are more likely to get some kills using those.

I gotta say that i respect how any player chooses to play.  I dont mind if someone rushes, camps, tubes, sprays... i mean to each its own. Everyone can make their choice. What we gotta be is better players to be able to avoid and kill em all! =)

 

I gotta say thats why i first joined and stayed at begginers, i could learn to play at my own pace n such, and its a leveled playing field. Most experienced players dont camp or tube, but if u wanted to, you could, so a begginer can still kill a pro =)

well, as it's been already said - camping is allowed. But what is your idea to make people stop camping with m4 or any other automatic rifle? different maps? making camping illegal (lol is it even possible to make it illegal and take care of respecting this rule? )


imo, different player, different playing style. And of course it annoys me to, when I see so many campers, but to be honest, nothing can be done and I guess the only thing we can do is just accept campers

It's all been said above...just play the game.  As any other war game you'll have the people who rush (I'm included, check out my KDR next time I'm on), and those who find a spot to sit and wait for people to rush.  It'll be very hard to police the no camping rule.
