Ol Smoke Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Went to Lowe's yesterday and bought a new garden hose. It came with instructions on how to install it and how to use it. Quote
nani* Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 That's your point of view, but the fact is that there are people with problems, such as some kind of psychic deficiency, who may find it useful to read the instructions before using. This is generalizable to anything else. 2 Quote
slenderman Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 It's like laundry detergent that says "do not consume." Don't see why anyone would even think about drinking that unless they are children. Quote

Well the solution of the problem is in your comment...they write that to warn children who could possibly find the substance Quote

ajnl Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 It is also a guard against lawsuits.This. Most if not all of those kinds of warnings are because if some person does consume it, they might end up suing the company. Like if you order coffee from Mcdonalds and spill it all over yourself while driving and burning yourself. Then suing them because they didn't tell you it was hot. Yeah that would never happen tho... For people without any kind of problem, we think that a simple water hose instructions are bullshit and unnecessary. But for someone who tries to lead a normal life like you and I, but suffered a slight percentage of psychic deficiency or may not be well temporarily can not focus on things as simple as using a simple hose can be turned out useful. But since this post is in this forum section, I can try to ignore it as instructions of a simple hose 1 Quote
