sorry if you were pissing around in your spawn for 3 or 5 mins i would consider you afk too if your gonna play in spawn and not help your team most admins will put you spec . how can we keep teams even and fair if 2 or 3 people are messing around in spawn if you wanna talk to your friends do us a favor and go spec otherwise play

people cry for ammo and when someone give's it you would consider it as afk? imo its good if there is someone spamming ammo box in spawn so you dont have to run for ammo cabinets after few kill. And like Katon pointed out from your wiki its allowed.

There is no problem with people dumping ammo / medpacks in a long line all the way from spawn as they are running to the objective / combat area, but sitting in the spawn throwing med/ammo packs is basically a waste of a team slot and your team might get owned because you decided to take up a team slot and not actually help the team..

 

tl/dr; you can throw as many med/ammo packs as you like, but only whilst playing the game, not sitting in spawn doing nothing.

this never was about sitting in spawn and chatting for 5 min ofc then put spec but it was about if xpwhoring sitting in spawn giving ammo is allowed or not

If you read what I had typed up correctly, it should of said Alacrity just had joined the server and my team. we droped in the same spawn exchanging words and throwing packs while remaining mobile and active in both chat and in-game. Doing it a quarter of the map, unacceptable; but 3 mins =/ I see some FA members go afk for a lot longer then that *not naming names* but its the consept of the matter which is, we were not afk and we WERE helping the team in some way.. you never med and run out of ammo/wish you had that extra little health at one time? Besides, its not like I do it routinely..

I can't even find a good reason that you would come here and even make a topic about it.. Get your heart off you sleeve and just jump back in and play and have fun

After reading a few of the admins posts it seems that there are different opinions and ways that they would handle this situation or interpret this rule. Maybe this rule needs more clarification?

It's allowed. Make sure you are not blocking the way of your team.

Exception: If you will go in one corner with flamer and ammo to increase your SL rating you will be banned. Be a man and play fair to get your rating

 

 

AFK Or Inactive while playing

 

If player is AFK for more then 3-4 spawn cycle move them to spec.

There just seems to be a misunderstanding with if what he was doing is incorrect or not.

People might say something like "haha get over it he just put you spec no big deal" but it's about how they thought an admin felt - like he had a control over them.

 

As for the people saying that ammo spamming isn't even necessary; you guys obviously haven't played jay 1 and more specifically on Venice to understand how many people like ammo spammed at their spawn.

I'd say learn how to shoot and conserve ammo, considering most of the "pro's" I watch don't spray their ammo and hope they hit the head twice, like a very high percentage of players on our servers who think their actually good at a FPS game think. They are very conservative on where they place their shot. So I do see an issue with ammo or even health packs being thrown all over spawn. Its totally unnecessary considering your gonna die anyways. I could see it differently if the whole team worked as one unit but that won't happen in a open to the public server.

Sometimes FA clan members are doing hidden-from-players admin work while they seem AFK.
