The topic made me immediately think of Cookie Monster's avatar:

But with a far more humongously open mouth!

 

And with less pink, as mentioned above. Make the mouth so big that only a bit of the eyes are visible and increase the fangs and make the tonge purple streaked with blood.

 

On further thought, the designers should ask what is causing the Scream, to better catch the ambiance.
