ok I have bought the zotac gtx670 amp edition and the ram..

Next month I'm looking to buy the psup and a air cooling.. But for this i'm a bit lost and dont know which one to trust without be forced to go for the one who's known and a madness price .. for the psup i was looking for 650-750W but dont know if enough or will better higher.. Some idea? Only found this one for now: http://www.ldlc.com/...PB00124607.html (a bit afraid to take the risk to burn my pc if I choose this one).. I just don't want spend more than 100 euros for it..

About aircooling i have seen in another thread You talked about a aircooling better than watercooling.. It will be nice and welcomed to suggest me this one if it's for a cheaper price..

I have the 660TI and have my frames capped at 125 for CoD, if I didn't it would be jumping into the 300-400fps.

My power supply I used the 650watt from Seasonic, has worked perfectly. If you want to see my build just go here: http://fearless-assassins.com/topic/38826-thinking-about-building-my-first-pc/

650-750w should be more than enough, if I take a build from a website I trust (just by accident they are giving away a full watercooled system with 670 ^^) is running at 365w full load overclocked.

I love the seasonic (kind of expensive) and corsair psu (corsair often made by seasonic btw XD)

(sli is another case, but don't think it will give problem if you don't go triple sli XD)

Closed loop system perform in general the same as high end air coolers (maybe the corsair h100 a bit better)

Cooling: loads of choice there, I love gelid tranquillo in general though, cost like 30 euro

Personal I have the corsair H80 (closed loop, but I won it XD) with scythe gentle typhoons @ 630 rpm, during wolfenstein temp go around 40 c, can't remember under full load sorry => no overclock anymore on this cpu, too unstable :(

Yea knew about the filiation btw corsair and seasonic me too.. So, I have thought the new product of psup "GS800W", cheaper than Seasonic, could be my choice but I have seen that lot of people had problems with it especially with the noise in charge.. So I have searched for a seasonic who is more trusted, with a maximum power of functioning for the whole of the rig (around 500/550W I think) still in the 20%-80% ratio of this psup, to keep the stability and the efficiency, and if I'm not wrong for a good price:

Tomorrow I'm going to receive the MB I have bought Tuesday: http://www.ldlc.com/...PB00130134.html .. I wanted to buy a MB built with a network card from intel.. I hope I have not done a mistake.. There's so many type of network cards on the MB (realtek, broadcom, intel..) and specifications, that I was not sure.. If needed I will buy one to add on the MB.. For the rest they seemed to be approximatively the same or close.. I have not planed to do a 3Xsli only and probably later a simple sli when the zotac will be cheaper..

Yea the H80 could be my choice.. No big prob with it? Ventirad tower is maybe a bit to big, RAM and the Zotac are enormous (I have tried to install this GC into my actual pc but impossible, space not sufficient and two slots SATA blocked the install.. XD) to keep a good air flow.. For now I'm searching a case (high tower, with a window or mesh and not too ugly) around 100 euros with a good air flow and sufficiently big to not be forced to take off the fan on his door because of caloduc of the GC, like this one: http://www.ldlc.com/...PB00133050.html..

Next step (December) I'm going to buy the proc i7 3770k..

Only big problem I had with the H80 was the sound it made. The reason I replaced the fans with the gentle typhoons (love those fans for rads :P)

I got network cards from a bunch of different brands (desktop is intel => although amd cpu :P, laptop is Qualcomm, other pcs here are realtek). Can't say I really see differences between them.

Anyway seems like you are building a monster rig :P

Some advices about the HDD?!? I would like a HDD with between 1To and 2To and a rotation speed of 7200rpm.. So actualy, would be a better choice, Seagate or WesternD and which model??? This one seemed to me good but I would like to have your opinion: http://www.ldlc.com/...PB00126129.html

Am sure you already know that my gtx680 is capped at 125 under ET. Im using Be Quite PSU 630watts with it, works great so far and the PSU is really quite. Here http://www.amazon.co...7&sr=8-13-spell

When Im at bed, the PC goes to auto-sleep mode and the PSU fan stops rotating also (sleep mode) even though ET is running in background. But as soon as I wake up the PC, PSU fan starts rotating back again.

EDIT

So, did u buy 650w already? and water cooling system?

So, did u buy 650w already? and water cooling system?

-Bought a Seasonic M12ll 850w 80+bronze

-Air cooling for now.. I'm stuck with my 2 last components (CPU fan+Case).. I'm not sure because of the heigh of fan and the width of case..

one of these fans:

-Termalright Macho Rev a BW or the True spirit 140

-Phantek PH-TC14PE

Noctua NH-DH14

and one of these cases:

-NZXT Phantom

-NZXT Phantom 410

-Zalman Z11 Plus (for his big width if I have really no choice)

So, first, I'm going to buy the tower and will measure the space free btw the door and the MB..

As I understood  HAF 932 would be with great airflow, hence the abbreviation High Air Flow, with 20cm fans. I had the impression from reviews that Phantom is kind of hotter.

About CPU heat sinks: I´ve always thought that water cooling is waste of money unless you want to get the most powerful CPU and boost it on 5+ Ghz. Because water cooling costs about 100 euros and with this money you can always get next level CPU. Haven´t looked around for CPU cooling yet so can´t recommend you some.

Waiting my Corsair Carbide 500r to arrive in a week or so. I could let you know how it performs if you´re interested.

Powerful PC you are putting together.

No showcase SS, no proof of upgrade :P

OT: Am scouting for mouse pad today, thinking to get one soon

Yea that's right.. 1 month I have finished my rig and still not ss.. I promised you and I maintain I'm going to do ss or a video..

processor: Intel i7 3770k (boosted easily on auto mode at 4.5hz but kept at 4.2hz)

motherboard: Asus p8z77-v lk

video card: Zotac GTX670 AMP Edition

Power suply: Seasonic M12ll 850W 80+ bronze

Hard Disk Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 6gb/s 2To

SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 128Go

RAM: G.skill Trident X Series 8Go (2x4Go) DDR3 2400Mhz Cas10

CPU fan: Termalright Macho REV a BW

CD/DVD burner: Asus DRW-24B5ST

Computer case: NZXT Phantom 410 USB 3.0 Edition (@Vana: quite silent, a true ice box and the space needed for the heatsink.. Pretty satisfy by my choice and hope the same for you)

Thermal compound: Artic Silver 5 high density 3.5g

Planned to add 3 or 4 fans with leds in the computer case, a sound card (probably a SoundBlaster) and maybe a network card.. For the rest probably change my old razer Deathadder for an "2013 Edtion" or another of their product the Razer Taipan (because of his dual system optical/laser) and a mousepad Razer Invicta..

Good to hear its working well and silent. I´m wondering what FPS do you get in Crysis 3(the ultimate benchmark ;))

Also I´m wondering what good can extra LAN card do? (Or SoundBlaster as the high end mobos have even 7.1 channel integrated audio? well as I don´t make any difference in notes maybe I can´t understand it:P)

Under 3DMark06: score-->31877  (http://www.3dmark.com/3dm06/17164353)

Under 3DMark11: score-->9526 (http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/6052370)

note side: got a little issue with the driver of HD4000 dedicated to processor(GPU) since 2 days, so I have uninstalled it for now..

About the sound card and the network card, it's a way to dissipate the efforts.. Btw I'm not going to buy some expensive material, cheap and who will not lower the current performance..
