just a 'remember' thread i just thought of outta the blue. just post past things that few or many may remember. me first:

 

anyone remember usin Netscape Navigator instead of Internet Explorer and AOL or using Dogpile.com before google got popular?

I remember those. Ask Jeeves and Altavista were also popular during that time. And I remember using compu serve prior to AOL. You had to signup or join specific groups within it. I used to get game codes from it. What about geocities webpages? That was awhile back.

Does anyone remember milk being sold in 1l plastic bags instead of tetrapacks/bottles? I still wonder how the hell the bag didn't break as soon as someone picked it up.

Woot,they still sell milk in 1l plastic bags in Estonia,but we also have tetrapacks and bottles.
