Guys' cursing what to do

M rated game, swearing is accepted on FA servers, unless its derogatory or constantly running someone down.

Is it disrupting the server? Or is it just swearing during the course of normal conversation?

3 warns = auto kick i belive. just get on xfire and contact higher ups, orr if nobody you have added is on, keep warning.

also - blessed is wrong. swearing is not allowed on fa cod4 server. dont say something is a rule unless you read it ingame and know from other people warning because of said rule

I don't want to be hijacking threads or anything but i don't understand why saying a swear on our Hc server is such a big deal. I understand if they're continuously swearing for no good reason, but just every now and then shouldn't be a big deal?

BM its not. but when someone is just spamming vulgarities and insulting for no reason, cranky milli and angry theo arrive. There's just no reason for it. Yeah its a war game. But we also have rules.

I don't like people that spam swears/insults either. I'm talking in general, if someone swears in their conversation and its not insulting they get a bonk on the head

The language warn is only after 6 warns, and counts different than the normal !warn.

 

 

Anyway, shift+~, /pb_plist and make a screenshot (scroll-lock+s for x-fire default). If the player is as e.g. 9 ~ALIAS~SomeUser, then get the aliases by /pb_alist 9 too in the screenshot (if necessary, multiple screenshots).

 

 

Anyway, usually let the language warn work. If they keep doing it, or start assaulting specific people (usually those who tell them not to swear), a !warn can be helpful. If after a kick (or 2) they still come back, ask a lvl11 or higher (those have at least tempban) to solve it a bit longer. If they give them a long ban, you have the screenshots for proof

Well the problem was when i warned him he continuously keep "disobeying" the rules.

I really don't see why people have such a problem with a swear word here and there. It's gonna happen no matter where you go. Let the auto warn do its job. No need to jump on someone cause they say f*** one time on the server.

 

 

Silent if he is continuing to break rules contact a higher admin that can take care of him.

Hc server auto warns and kicks after 6. You can !warn if they are just abusive or even !kick if you have the ability. Some like to come back alot and spam away. Angry Avaa, Theo, or Milli will put them in there place really quick. The other servers are far less strict on language as long as its not abusive. Put leaders in your X-fire. Avaa is REALLY good about answering even when listed as afk. Its an annoying thing to deal with, but there are lots of good ways to handle it. Last resort is /pb_list and get guid to post in trouble players thread.
