GraveDigger Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 I was lucky enough to see the first 3 with my dad as a little boy. I remember the whole Star Wars phenomena. It was crazy. Unlike any movie that had ever been made. Episode IV - New hope Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back Episode VI - Return of the Jedi IV is the best in my opinion followed very closely by VI. KevinBacon Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 Toss up between the dark setting and bleak storyline of Empire Strikes Back and the finale that is Return of the Jedi. I like both of these the most because you see so much more technology and alien races. I think Lucas and the rest of the gang were most creative when these two films were being made. I wish Lucas had put the same amount of work on the character developement and story that he did on the originals rather then add goofy characters and cartoon it up as was the case with the newer ones...
