If your issue started from yesterday, then it might be related to spoofed getstatus and getinfo packets used for DDoS. SkyeDarkhawk Posted December 10, 2010 Share Posted December 10, 2010 I will confess that the "ET Freeze" also happened to me yesterday, twice. But was not accompanied by any error message or other warning. I was able to terminate the ET.exe process from the taskmanager and I just caulked it up to new hardware and a failed hard drive I'm too lazy to disconnect. You can tell if your computer is completely frozen by pressing your Caps Lock or Num Lock keys. If the light comes on and/or goes off, it's just the program that has become unresponsive. SkyeDarkhawk Posted December 10, 2010 Share Posted December 10, 2010 Use Ctrl + Alt + Del or Ctrl + Shift + Esc to bring up the Task Manager, you might have to drag it into the screen if you use a different resolution than your desktop in-game.
