I use ETL 2.81.1.

I didnt change any value in my shortcut.

I use the latest GeForce game ready driver (546.33)

I experience no problem and no freezing.

Verify your 3D settings ?

Grrrrr now I have this.

Running Archlinux Zen and LTS kernels

Newest ETL since it was released

I timed it on Jay and Jay 2

FPS drops every 5 seconds from 125 to about 34 - only for a split second, the right back to 125

It's annoying

Switched to Win 11, ET 2.60b, no problem so it looks like an ETL problem

Give ETL a try on Wmdows. It works fine for me.

Problem is, I never use Windows. I only keep it on a separate SSD incase I need it - mostly for work apps that were only developed for Windows. It's not even a Grub entry. I have top F8 on reboot and manually select that drive.

This error, for me, just started last night

It's my Archlinux Build, I believe.

I haven't installed ETL on my windows Build but on Arcolinux, CPU-X shows my CPU is constantly throttling down to 800 MHz.

That doesn't happen on my Windows Build. CPU-X and HWInfo both show my correct clock speeds, etc

I'm going to install a new OS this weekend that will probably fix my lag-issues on ETL

  • 3 months later...

Suddenly this problem disappeared. I haven't updated ET, display adapter drivers or anything else. Just Windows updates.

Thank you for all suggestions. :)

Mine's never come back.... now I get some other weird thing where my screen "shakes" when I exec my cfg for anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute. And then it's fine

If I create a new profile, this does not happen, so today, I removed all the pk3-files in my profile directory, but this still happens.

Post a copy of your config and peeps can have a look, i'd say its prob a config issue if it doesnt happen with a new profile etc.

Pk3 files wont be you problem, again if its fine with a new profile then its not the pk3's.
