Hi,

I cannot seem to get any auto screenshot to work for some reason?

I have tried:

bind F11 "autoscreenshot"

bind F11 "screenshotjpeg"

and nothing shows up in any of my folders

when i try:

/screenshotjpeg 1 its says "unknown cmd screenshotJPEG"

/autoscreenshot 1 it says "unknown cmd screenshot jpeg"

I am running video recording all the time and at the end of each map that shows up in a demos folder and condumps show up in the correct place too

What am I doing wrong? running ET Legacy

Thanks

When you do /autoscreenshot in console. Without the 1 after. That change something or still the error?

Which version of ETL do you use exactly. I remember some members had a screenshot issue too with the 2.77
I will try to found back the topic

And maybe a dumb question but, do you launch it in administator ? :)

I've always preferred manually doing /screenshotjpeg so i can name the screenshot rigth there

/screenshotjpeg CabalDumbass

That way when user repeat offender I can just search Cabal in my folder and find everything on him.

If you have the latest ETL, you need to set cg_useScreenshotJPEG "0" or ss wont work.

Yes! that is the solution i found from your post in the tread that @DeKing put above, Thanks

I saw that line in my cfg but thought that "1" would mean that it was active 🤦‍♂️

So can take SS now but just working on binding it to f11

Thanks Everyone!

It should work with the two differents ways now ?

What @CabaL said is the best to do manually. but it will overwrite if you don't change the name. So for the bind I would suggest

Yes normally it is, but ETL has some bug with this and that needs to be set off. For me also the /screenshotjpeg worked then. I actually reverted to older ETL for some time ago, so all works there, yet just had to set that cvar to 0.

That also work with ETL 2.77.1 ( i am using that version)
