Yes, when I was installing 2.77 for the first time I click "retry" on that MD5 warning and after that I had some problems but next time I clicked "cancel" and the next info was about that missing pk3 files

 

I was playing on NQ1 all day yesterday using 2.77 and all was good. I think it's even more smooth than 2.76, lagometer looks bit more flat and so far I'm very happy

Indeed 2.77 feels very smooth , the aiming feels better .had no unpure packets with 2.77.

Note: if you install 2.77, I recommend you copy pak1.pk3 and pak2.pk3 from another installation and place it in your etmain folder.

 

These files aren't really needed any more (hence not being installed with 2.77), but if the server you're connecting to still has them and you don't, you'll get a 'couldn't load an official Pak file' error when connecting.

PC : Windows 8.1 and windows defender

 

Windows sees ETL as a trojan. Normal for me. I just asked windows to consider the .exe installer is safe.

 

I joined NQ1 , HC , B2 , Jay1 , Jay2 , Jay3 with ETL 2.77. All fine for those servers.

 

I couldnt join silent1. The error message is : Game server uses unsupported protocol: 82, expected 84 (et)

Yes for ETL 2.76

Its a false positive just whitelist etl.exe 2.77 on Windows defender and whatever other anti virus software you use if any.

lol dunno what i did but itr works now , first uninstalled 2.76 , then runned cccleaner , removed again the write protection from Documents folder , runned etl as admin (not nessesary) entred the game and now it seems to work

even after fresh install still got same problem 😕

You need to have set cg_useScreenshotJPEG "0" for ss to even work and also define F11 from options to ss. For some reason the key is resetted for me.

Also /screenshotjpeg doesn't work at all. And my hud doesn't load itself, but have to load it manually.

I also use ETL 2.77.1

It works fine so i suggest to upgrade.
