When  i installed ET Legacy, i installed it vanilla and it worked fine.

You dont need a CFG to begin with. You may install it later.

I would follow @Snuffs99 advice (uninstall everyhing and delete all directories).

Are you sure your video card is not the problem ?
I would be surprised your PC could be the problem.

Not exactly sure but everything changes to what I have saved. (rendel.cfg i edited) once i connect to server.

Did you uninstall 2.60b before you tried legacy?

 

I'm asking as if you didn't uninstall 2.60b then the legacy install would still be using the same jaymod folder as 2.60b did, although they are separate installs they both use the same mod folder (Jay/nit/NQ etc).

 

I'd advise at this point to either uninstall everything ET (keep your keys and configs) and start again with clean installs. So remove then reinstall legacy on its own without 2.60b so it creates its own folders including the mod folders like jaymod, OR delete your current jaymod folder and then run ET and let it download a new jaymod folder, least then you know its not an issue within the jaymod folder.

Oh also you have a screenshot above with your GUID visible, maybe remove it.

 

Can't edit post to remove my guid, shouldnt it be ok since it isn't the full guid?

I did not uninstall old ET once I downloaded Legacy. I will try to redo it all later this evening.

I had more trouble by rendlecfg instead of solving it, but it helped me understand some cvars, so i could come up with my own cfg.

 

i wonder if a clean install with a default cfg and default etkey causes the same problems?

(i doubt the etkey, this shouldn't cause anything)

 

When I open and play with Legacy, and open with ` it shows i am running 2.76. I do believe whenever I installed legacy I used existing folder instead of creating a new one. This could be my problem. Thanks guys and I will let you all know what happens.

So I've redownloaded both old-school ET and Legacy and I'm continuously getting kicked after about 5 minutes of being on server #1. I used stock everything and it still happened.. Is it the version of windows I have? Could it be my graphics card possibly (even though I doubt it?)
