mewt Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 I quit at the end of January this year. What helped me is that I finally found a stress free job and most of my main worries were gone. Without a great amount of stress on me it was easier to quit. I sometimes forget I smoked for 14 years. 4 1 Quote
Xernicus Posted October 14, 2020 Author Posted October 14, 2020 Three weeks without smoking as of today! I feel lighter in my footsteps, I can jog easier, and I notice I can go longer without nicotine than while I was smoking. (I'm using snus now) 5 2 Quote
Gameplan Posted October 14, 2020 Posted October 14, 2020 That 2-3 wk mark is a major hurdle. Getting rid of the snus is next 1 1 Quote

Platinum VIP -=HipKat=- Posted October 16, 2020 Platinum VIP Posted October 16, 2020 (edited) Dec 14th will be 2 years for me! Everyone should quit! I wanted to quit badly, but couldn't so I took a supplement for anxiety (No I don't remember what it was), that my Dr gave me, and did Chantix for 60 days. I know, I'll never smoke again. Then I gained 35 lbs eating everything I could get my hands on for a year, but have lost 23 now eating very healthy foods, no more junk food or fast food Edited October 16, 2020 by -=HipKat=- 3 Quote

I'm looking forward to my one year mark. 1 1 Quote
