Hi all it's Vitosa here, I know I said I was taking a big break, and I have been playing lately blackops 3 and cod ww2 alot, and on my same settings as I had on quakelive and Enemy Territory with some calculations.

And I'm happy to say I want to start playing ET again.

So I downloaded ET Legacy, I also have a new computer and windows 10 now.

I still saved my old etkey on a usb stick so that was a good idea to do.

I have been admin in the past and I will try to pick it up again, but will not play too long cause I got other stuff to do aswell.

Anyway hope to see you soon.

You can also find me in other games in blackops 3 or ww2 cod as GameVosje which stands for little gamefox.

Do you get any messages? Can you do a console dump for us?

try to join noquarter again

after failure

open console by pressing the `~ key next to the number 1 key usually.

type /condump FILENAME.txt

I didn't see any issues there in the log, other than it looping because it doesn't have dubrovnik_final_1104.pk3 , maybe I missed something else but I checked twice. If i knew what port the maps would download from F|A from I would say try to ping it from a command prompt, if you cant get through its your PC/router.

 

I can't download maps it seems , but I had it running for a little while on goldrush and another.

maybe a firewall,setting,permission is blocking you from downloading. What operating system are you on?

 

I would try running the installation again to a different path (c:\et or something simple), right click it and run as admin, turn windows firewall off if applicable... Then right click the shortcut goto properties, compatibility mode set to windows xp maybe. Try it all out, let us know. Windows 8 and above have really odd "Security" measures that make things a pain in the behind. Good luck
