->RoGue Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 What do you mean by spice up? I've got some things like class/spawn selector if you want. Though the class selector might need some work depending on what mod you play on. -RoGue Quote
Antimony Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Here are some scripts to help you: This will enable you to sprint while shooting without keeping the sprint key pressed. you can also toggle it on/off //Sprint+Shoot bind MOUSE1 "+vstr attack_1 attack_0" set switch_atk "vstr switch_atk1" set switch_atk1 "set attack_1 vstr attack_on_sp; set attack_0 vstr attack_off_sp; set switch_atk vstr switch_atk2; echo ^1<<SPRINT-OFF>>" set switch_atk2 "set attack_1 vstr attack_on; set attack_0 vstr attack_off; set switch_atk vstr switch_atk1; echo ^2<<SPRINT-ON>>" set attack_1 "vstr attack_on" set attack_0 "vstr attack_off" set attack_on "+attack; +sprint" set attack_off "-attack; -sprint" set attack_on_sp "+attack" set attack_off_sp "-attack" These are simple class selection binds which I use most: bind F8 "team b 1 4 37; echo ^4Allies Medic" bind F9 "team r 1 3 38; echo ^1Axis Medic" bind F4 "team b 2 24 37; echo ^4Allies Engineer w/ rifle" bind F5 "team r 2 23 38; echo ^1Axis Engineer w/ rifle" Use this to increase fps little bit: seta cg_optimizeprediction "1" You forgot ur r_settings btw. Otherwise known as a FOVchanger. When using this .cfg I use Medium graphics, to reduce lag, and improve crosshair color, but thats just me. I also have a crouch .cfg then when crouching it changes your sens as does this fov script, have fun with it. Hope you enjoy! If wanted, I have more .cfg's to share. Clan Friend SunLight Posted July 13, 2011 Clan Friend Posted July 13, 2011 walk script: set walk1 "+speed; set walkspeed vstr walk2" set walk2 "-speed; set walkspeed vstr walk1" set walkspeed "vstr walk1" bind capslock "vstr walkspeed" for your mousewheel I strongly suggest something like this, to switch quickly to the most common slots (revive, medipack, etc.). Of course when you snipe you need another config bind MWHEELDOWN "weaponbank 5" bind MWHEELUP "weaponbank 6" my crosshair and crosshair color toggle: ///////////////////////////// // crosshair toggle set xhair_toggle1 "set xhair_toggle_next "vstr xhair_toggle2"; cg_drawcrosshair 9; cg_crosshairsize 100; cg_crosshairAlpha 0" set xhair_toggle2 "set xhair_toggle_next "vstr xhair_toggle3"; cg_drawcrosshair 15; cg_crosshairsize 44; cg_crosshairAlpha 1" // #15 works on etpro only? set xhair_toggle3 "set xhair_toggle_next "vstr xhair_toggle4"; cg_drawcrosshair 5; cg_crosshairsize 36; cg_crosshairAlpha 1" set xhair_toggle4 "set xhair_toggle_next "vstr xhair_toggle1"; cg_drawcrosshair 9; cg_crosshairsize 36; cg_crosshairAlpha 1" set xhair_toggle_next "vstr xhair_toggle1" bind 9 "play sound/weapons/misc/fire_water; vstr xhair_toggle_next" // crosshair color toggle set xhair_col1 "set xhair_col_next "vstr xhair_col2"; cg_crosshairColor "yellow"; cg_crosshairColorAlt "yellow" " set xhair_col2 "set xhair_col_next "vstr xhair_col3"; cg_crosshairColor "white"; cg_crosshairColorAlt "white" " set xhair_col3 "set xhair_col_next "vstr xhair_col4"; cg_crosshairColor "red"; cg_crosshairColorAlt "red" " set xhair_col4 "set xhair_col_next "vstr xhair_col5"; cg_crosshairColor "blue"; cg_crosshairColorAlt "blue" " set xhair_col5 "set xhair_col_next "vstr xhair_col1"; cg_crosshairColor "cyan"; cg_crosshairColorAlt "cyan" " set xhair_col_next "vstr xhair_col2" bind 0 "play sound/weapons/misc/fire_water; vstr xhair_col_next" fov toggle when i hold shift (I don't use it anymore but it was nice to zoom with it) now I keep always the same fov, still suck hard so maybe I'll use it again binding sprint on mouse2 is also a good idea (in my opinion) ///////////////////////////// // FOV toggle set zoom_1 "cg_fov 90" set zoom_2 "cg_fov 112" bind SHIFT "+vstr zoom_1 zoom_2" Quote

But less than 80MB left it's little hard for ET to handle customized mods and maps and you may face memory problem and kicks from the game another problem is changing com_zoneMegs allocated RAM from config or console won't change and it will set to default, even with ET restart or doing vid_restart... the only way to fix that is to add com_zoneMegs (RAM) to ET shortcuts and that can be done from your regulars ET shortcut or from Xfire (if you use xfire to launch the game) Add after last Quote and leave 1 space between them, like this for example: "C:\Program Files \Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ET.exe" +set com_hunkmegs 328 +set com_soundMegs 64 +set com_zoneMegs 64 Here are some scripts to help you: This will enable you to sprint while shooting without keeping the sprint key pressed. you can also toggle it on/off //Sprint+Shoot bind MOUSE1 "+vstr attack_1 attack_0" Sprint and shoot script not anyone like it, personally I don't like it anymore, so the thing to understand is when sprint is needed? well it's an easy answer, for me personally, will be only when I do left and right movement while I'm shooting, so from that we can create much easy and simple script for sprint, of course this kind of script is for Lazy people like me, real player like do it like pro and use shift key with default keys // Sprint (sprint only when you use moveleft or moveright buttons) bind a "+vstr mLeftOn mLeftOff" set mLeftOn "+moveleft; +sprint" set mLeftOff "-moveleft; -sprint" bind d "+vstr mRightOn mRightOff" set mRightOn "+moveright; +sprint" set mRightOff "-moveright; -sprint" Notice that I used default keys A and D Quote
