  18. File Name: Vsay Chat System File Submitter: Heretic121 File Submitted: 14 Apr 2013 File Category: Player Configs This is my current vsay chat system. I learned how to create custom vsays today, and then wanted to make my own chat system for them. The system uses the numpad on your keyboard as follows: Three control keys: 7, 8 and 9 are your control keys. 7 will set Global vsays, 8 will set Team vsays and 9 will set Fun vsays. Global uses keys 1 - 6 on the numpad: 1 = Hi 2 = Bye 3 = Cheer 4 = Great Shot 5 = Thanks 6 = You're welcome Team uses keys 4-6 on the numpad: 4 = Need a Medic (With current HP appended) 5 = Need Ammo (With current amount of ammo) 6 = We need an engineer I'm currently working on Fun because I've created it using multiple levels. So I could potentially add up to 200+ custom vsays on there. There is one vsay on there at the moment, to show how it'll be used. To use it, it's 9444 on the numpad. Well, that's it. Hope you enjoy the first instalment of my Vsay Chat System Click here to download this file
  19. Not quite sure what to call it but it's my current custom vsay config thingy. Anywho, a quick explanation of it: This config makes use of the numpad, which is normally used for fireteam things. The reason I chose the numpad was because I don't really use the numpad for fireteams, and it was alot of spare keys doing nothing much So there are three static control keys, 7, 8 and 9 on the numpad. 7 is for Global Vsays, 8 is for Team Vsays and 9 is for Fun Vsays. To select Vsays from these categories you use 1-6 on the numpad. 7 and 8 have a max of 6 custom vsays each. 9 can have anything up to 200+ vsays, but currently only has three. Global Vsays: Numpad 1 - Hello Numpad 2 - Goodbye Numpad 3 - Cheer Numpad 4 - Great Shot Numpad 5 - Thanks Numpad 6 - You're welcome. Team Vsays: Numpad 4 - Medic (With current health) Numpad 5 - Ammo (With current ammo) Numpad 6 - We need an engineer. The Fun category has three vsays at the moment, but as mentioned, it has the potential to have 200+ vsays. If you want to use the current three vsays, they are as follows: Numpad 444: Text - How do you like me now, [k]? | Sound - Boom Headshot! Numpad 445: Text - I love you, [r]! | Sound - I love you! Numpad 446: Text - Thank you, [p]! | Sound - Thanks Not the most amazing fun vsays, but they're just a little filler to show that it works Right, I think that's about it. If you have any questions, ask away EDIT: I forgot to add; when I created this, I had only just spent 30 minutes learning it. It took me about 2 hours to build it from scratch, bug test it and fix any problems I encountered. So if there any mistakes, or problems, I apologise NOTE: This config was created for NQ1, however it does work on NQ2 and 3 but it won't be able to use any custom sounds. vsays.zip

  21. This script binds two keys, one for scrolling the list and displaying the vsay and the other for executing it. This script is similar to the one posted by me for JAY2 & JAY3 but contains all the NQ Extra vsays. This cfg works on NQ1 & NQ2 servers. I've named it as "nqvsay.cfg", but you can name it as per your convenience. Just place the cfg in you ETMAIN folder and execute it by invoking the console in game using the "~" key. In this cfg i have assigned "D" for scrolling/display and "F" for executing. Again you can change them as per your comfort. Here it is; nqvsay.cfg Thanks to -=Medic=- for this post Fa-Noquarter-sound-pack-vsay-list
  22. Hi guys, I Have been playing on Beginner's XPS Forever server or the JAY3 server for very long and love those funny sound packs we get to hear every now and then. My favourite "Fight like men with huge Cahoneys" from GTA vice city. I know you can bind some keys for specific vsays but since its a huge list (186 funny vsays as counted by me) and everytime pressing the "v" key and selecting the sound was a pain in the ass, I have prepared a script which can make the task somewhat simple. Here is a brief guide about the script/cfg: It is a modified toggle script which I had used for changing Nicks. It binds two keys, one for displaying and scrolling the vsay and the other for playing it. For eg; Upon pressing the first binded key it will start displaying the vsay, its number and its output some what like "vsay duke1:Your face, your ass, whats the difference? Pressing the second binded key will play the sound displayed. Pressing the First key again moves on the the second on the list and so on & so forth until the final one in the list and then it starts all over again. Everytime you press the second binded key you will hear the selected fun vsay which is displayed on the screen and you can repeat the same sound until you you press the first binded key which scrolls through the rest of the sound pack list. In this cfg I have bound the key "D" for scrolling/display and "F" for playing the sound(You can bind the keys as per your convenience). I have named this script as mysay.cfg, but you can give any name you like to. Place this cfg in your etmain folder and execute it by typing "/exec mysay" in the console which you can acess by pressing the "~" button on your keyboard. NOTE:I have tested this script on JAY3 and JAY2 servers where it works very well and I don't think it will work on the other FA servers. Please try and help me correct any defects. Apologies for my bad presentation skills. I wholeheartedly welcome any kind of suggestions/criticisms. mysay.cfg Thanks to -=Medic=- for this post http://fearless-assa...pack-vsay-list/ Just wanted to add that this cfg works on JAY2 server as well. PS:Removed the code which was very long and stretched the page.
  23. Hi I'm having this problem now for some weeks and I'd like to solve it. When I started with ET my vsays were like everyone's. v55 for good bye etc. A few weeks ago this changed on one server (nq2). It became vgb for good bye, vggg for good game etc. My menu looks like the attached screenshot now. Some vsays were disabled this way. For example I can't say "need a medic", "I need ammo", important on botservers. Slowly this has changed on every server. This also causes a problem with soundpacks: I can't use them. I've tried deleting and redownloading several pk3files, but nothing worked. I hope someone knows how to solve this problem, because it's quite annoying. Grtz.
