Hello Guys Of NQ

 

Please leave your comment here about the riflegrenade off server NQ,

I have heard alot of comments about it, and now i want them on the forum where everyone can see what you think about it! :unsure:

 

 

My comment: I Hate it, always that grenade that ends your killingspree. and it goes everywhere,

and 1 shot.....

 

If you have an solution Just tell that to!

I hate it too, even if you are medic with 156 hp (full), 1 riflenade shot in your area, not just under you. But as well 1 meter in your area will kill you instantly.

 

These Rnades should be lowered so they do max 130 hp damage, when they are underneath you!!! :excl: . That way the rifles still need to hit you. and that is a SERIOUS problem for some of the people on the server. :noob

 

They just randomly shoot rnades, but if they miss they won't shoot with their rifle, they will just try to screw on another rnade and when they are 30 meter away from you, they succeed and kill you with this rnade...

 

So please, put a limit on the number of rifles or on the max damage of these rnades.

Once upon a time when player called 'hate' used to play, he said below things:

 

I also hate when medic's uses there medic packs all the time to save themselves after every fight.

 

I also hate how field ops can throw artillery and kill other players without doing any single thing.

 

I also hate that when I am in close fight and medic mp40 shoots faster then my garand.

 

I also hate how medics camp and hardly help in doing obj.

 

I also hate how panzers can be guided.

 

I also hate how player sometimes use vsays as it breaks my focus.

 

I also hate .... meh too much hate? Why not just play COD4 or BC2 :)

Few months ago someone made a post asking to increase the damage of rnades, cos it was not comparable to other servers, many members were agree and leaders made the appropriate changes.

 

Now you ask to reduce the damage cos is exorbitant and is a serious problem for some players ... :huh:

I think that is what makes game more realistic and interesting,it would be boring when you get hit by R.grenade and lose only like 5 HP or smth like that :)

So getting 2 bullets in your head and surviving is realistic? ET wasn't made to be realistic.

 

Rnade is overpowered. Because it is so powerful maps are becoming more and more static, with people just camping around corners with rnade.

 

Lowering the damage a teeny tiny bit would be perfect imo.

I really don't get it why ppl keep insisting in complaining about rifle grenades?

why don't you complaint about simple grenades or panzer with cam, arty spam, mortar kill sprees,etc ..

 

Do you guys have something against engineers? :blink:

 

1st - off all heavy weapons ARE heavy weapons, they are NOT supposed to do half damage or whatever, they are supposed to kill/maim/gib you on the spot.. anything else and you might as well remove them..

 

2nd - if you are complaining how a simple grenade can kill half the team at once.. maybe half the team shouldn't be sniffing each others butts in the same place.. standing close to each other is giving the enemy a multikill.. to the problem may be in the tactics you use.. (try go to HARDCORE server from time to time, and you'll learn something)

 

3rd - to you all rambo mofo medics,"boo hoo", don't you camp enough or you think the 156hp isn't enough... I get sick out of my mind every time i'm in a fire fight, and get a frickin medic jumping away like a frikin bunny throwing medic pack at is feet... arrrrggghhh.. :mad

if I add a rifle every time I see that.. I wouldn't throw a grenade don't horry.. I would take a plain, fly to your house, get you in front of your computer and shove the rifle up your @$$, arrrrrrggghhh...

 

4th - and last IF any change should be made to weapon damage it should be to increase mine damage.. for fck sake..

engies are the "explosion" experts, they are the ones that have a "Flak Jacket".. and they can hardly survive a mine..

on the other hand.. the medics with their 156hp.. arrrgggghhhhh.... :mad

 

 

PS: I always get aggravated when I read topics like this.. engie class rules.. this game was made for engies.. and engie can do all the obj and win maps.. can any other class do that.. NO.. so stop f*cking with the guys that help you move on the map.. if it wasn't for the engies, every map would be a spawn rape, on the 1st part of the map..

and I keep seeing them attacked by guys, always with the same excuses.. "engies don't let me camp enough", "engies don't let me frag enough", "engies don't let me spawn rape enough", "engies don't let me fag enough"... arrrrgghhhh... go take a hike with a r.nade, and when you get on the edge of the moutain, and shove it up yours, count up to 156 and throw your self of the edge.. :mad

Rifle grenaders on NQ already have a huge disadvantage, with lean being animated, so it would be a bit unfair.

It has to be smth like that. On jaymod rnade technicly won't kill you (jaymod is a beginners mod), but etpub and nq are similar to etpro, there one rnade can kill u without a problem.

I play on hardcore server only, and I use to kill with rnades. Just deal with that. ;)

Cant say it better. Nothing should change! I dont complain against RAMBO MEDICS so deal with it and let it as it is.

Grenades - Start with only 2 (instead of 8 rnades). Much harder to use, cannot be thrown very far. Slow detonation (4s), contrairy to rifle nades that explode immediatly). Also, in my experience a nade is not as powerful as a rifle nade (as in damage dealt).

Panzer with cam - Very slow recharge rate, only about 2 shots / minute and avoidable.

Arty spam - Avoidable, in one place and you even get a warning where it is put. Also slow recharge rate, only 1 per team.

Mortar - slow recharge rate, see panzer. Often always in the same spot.

 

With an rnade:

You can hit people you can't see.

You can fire a gazillion rnades a minute.

You can fire across the entire map if it's open.

You start with 8 ammo.

Rnade is a very powerful weapon in the right hands. As all weapons. Still, it gives a lot of extra feats (bouncing rnades off walls etc.) and is very versatile. To be honest, I like the rnade, but that doesn't mean that I don't think it shouldn't be nerfed. Still, if it says the same cheers from me. An extra challenge in the game :embrass

Upping mine damage won't do much. Problem with mines is that if you jump off them in the right way, the mine will trigger when you're already 4ft away. Because you're already almost out of the blast radius, you get away with only minor (about 40hp) damage. I think increasing either the response time (is this possible?) or the blast radius would be more effective.

 

 

PS: I don't think that this is said often enough, but if I would post a topic every time I thought 'damn I love this server and how they take care of it' I would be a major spamwh0re. Thanks for all the great work guys.

Rnade is a very powerful weapon in the right hands.

 

so is every other weapon.. if you get creative with it.. I have been owned many different ways.. and between gombas and having satchels drop on my head from 2 floor.. don't believe the a grenade bouncing of a wall is the most creative thing in ET..

 

slow recharge rate

 

 

every other weapon may have a slower recharge rate.. but all together their are the most troublesome..

 

just as an example..Many time I get frustrated trying to get out of 2nd axis spawn in glodrush.. just to be killed by the

constant airstrikes + artillery strikes + a panzer every 10 seconds and a mortar every 5 seconds..

this makes it impossible to go out by the main corridor..

 

every time this happens.. (which is a lot).. I get really pissed.. but never with the nades.. you know why.. because there are no grenades being thrown at the passage when that arty spam happens..

 

and between 2 or 3 engies covering a door or passage way.. and a full blown out of the sky patio..

I'll prefer the engies every time..

1: You have spawn shield

2: Get the hell out of the spawn and up the stairs. You can get halfway up the stairs before spawnshield is over

3: No arty here, enter the room on your left and clear it. Keep fingers crossed that there isn't an enemy rnader in there.

4: ?????

5: Profit!
